Continuity mistake: After Sir Hugo has stabbed the girl on the moor, no blood is visible on the knife he used, however after he drops it (because he is attacked by a hound) blood has now appeared on it.

The Hound of the Baskervilles (1959)
Directed by: Terence Fisher
Starring: Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, Andre Morell, Marla Landi
Trivia: This was the first adaptation of a Sherlock Holmes mystery to be filmed in color.
Trivia: Christopher Lee is arachnophobic, and his fear in the scene where Sherlock discovers the spider in Sir Henry's hotel room is completely genuine.
Doctor Richard Mortimer: But this is remarkable.
Sherlock Holmes: Superficial. There is nothing remarkable about using one's eyes.
Sherlock Holmes: There is more evil around us here than I have ever encountered before.
Sherlock Holmes: You had better be off. You mustn't be late for your peasant friends... I hope you enjoy their rabbit pie.
