Continuity mistake: When Cary Grant and the insurance agent are walking through the flower market, the girl in the bright pink dress walks past them twice.

To Catch a Thief (1955)
Directed by: Alfred Hitchcock
Starring: Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, John Williams, Jessie Royce Landis
Continuity mistake: A short time after Cary Grant changes out of his clothes and says he is leaving with the boat girl, he is seen with the previous clothes on again.
Continuity mistake: Keep an eye on the letter that Cary Grant has with all of the names of the potential theft victims. 1) The way it is folded changes from 3 folds to 2 and from up to sideways. 2) The suite numbers are wrong , as seen when CG goes to Grace Kelly's, and it is different from the list.
Trivia: Hitchcock's cameo occurs about 10 minutes into this film - he is seen sitting next to Cary Grant on a bus.
Trivia: The road that Francie and John are driving on, trying to get away from the police, is the same road that Grace Kelly was driving on when she had a stroke and died in a car accident in 1982.
John Robie: Miss Stevens?
Frances Stevens: Yes, Mr. Burns?
John Robie: You know what I think?
Frances Stevens: About what?
John Robie: You.
Frances Stevens: I don't really care.
John Robie: You're here in Europe to buy a husband.
Frances Stevens: The man I want doesn't have a price.
John Robie: That eliminates me.
Jessie Stevens: Sorry I ever sent her to finishing school. I think they finished her there.
