To Catch a Thief

John Robie, a reformed jewel thief, is suspected to have returned to his old tricks when a spate of jewel thiefts occurs along the French Riviera. Capricious, flirty Francie Stevens, an American tourist, dares to fall in love with him though she secretly suspects he is behind the thefts. After a few thwarted attempts to collar the jewel thief, named The Cat by the press, John enlists Francie's help to nail the culprit.
