Audio problem: Throughout the entire film, many of the supporting characters are noticeably and distractingly overdubbed. It's often most noticeable with the police officer Jessica, who is one of the main characters. The movie was shot in Bulgaria primarily with European actors and had most of their dialogue replaced in post-production, presumably to cover up accents.

Puppet Master vs Demonic Toys (2004)
Directed by: Ted Nicolaou
Starring: Corey Feldman, Vanessa Angel, Danielle Keaton
Revealing mistake: When the demon is dressed up as Santa Claus, watch closely. Every time you can see under his sleeves, you can see where the monster makeup on his arms ends, and the normal human skin behind it.
Trivia: Charles Band, co-creator of both franchises, sold the rights to this crossover film to the Sci-Fi Channel so it could be made. He primarily did it for the money because his studio, Full Moon, was struggling financially. Band later expressed regret for this decision, as the film is of a noticeably poor quality. Additionally, director Ted Nicolaou has said he regrets making the film and feels it turned out poorly. He wasn't a fan of the franchises and only took the job to get much-needed work.
Robert Toulon: Blade's about to get an upgrade.
Robert Toulon: You have to look at it this way - if we invented gasoline, does that mean it would take us anywhere? And the answer is no, you would still have to build the car.
Robert Toulon: Did I ever tell you the story of how the Puppets helped Old Man Toulon fight the Nazis in Germany?
