Continuity mistake: When Yossi Ghinsberg falls from the plot to the river, he swims to left bank of the river (you can see the water flow from right to left). Afterwards he stayed on the same bank of the river. But later we see him to look down to the river from the right side (water flow is from left to the right). How did he get there? (00:52:25 - 01:14:23)
Jungle (2017)
Directed by: Greg Mclean
Starring: Daniel Radcliffe, Lily Sullivan, Luis Jose Lopez, Yasmin Kassim
Factual error: For a movie about the Amazon Basin, it is too bad they pictured many birds from the zoo or computer generated "who knows what." They used a Great Hornbill and African vultures (griffons or white backed vultures) - not South American. They also used computer generated white birds flying over River in "V." Could have been a flock of Cattle Egrets, but just was not right for them.
Continuity mistake: When Yossi was rescued and in the boat/canoe, his shirtless body and pants were filthy but - after almost three weeks in the jungle - his beard was neat and trimmed. A close-up a little later also shows how neat his beard was. (01:44:47 - 01:45:24)
Karl: This is the last frontier on earth. Still alive, still wild. Not for long. We don't like wild. We don't like untamed. We're obsessed with control. So, we ruin the whole planet, and pride ourselves for creating stupid national parks with stupid rangers in stupid hats to protect what's already gone. Why? Cause we're scared. The jungle shows us what we really are. We're nothing. We're a joke. God fucked up.
Yossi Ghinsberg: I told my parents I'd be back in a year, but I don't think I'm ever going back.
