Horns

Deliberate mistake: During the entire movie nothing is mentioned about the rape of Merrin until the very end, even though it is quite obvious for a forensic investigator to determine she was raped, and something like that would be very important to help find a suspect. This is done deliberately to continue the plot as rape would make Iggy less of a suspect (being her boyfriend for years) and someone like Lee more (known by Iggy and others he had feelings for her).

Continuity mistake: Before Iggy gets his horns, he got a shot of whisky in the bar from the blonde girl. The level of whisky changes between shots.

Little Girl: I hate Mommy. I want to burn her in her bed with matches. I want to burn her up, all up gone.

Merrin Williams: You deserve better.
Ig Perrish: Finally, something we agree on.

Father Mould: You... you killed that innocent girl, Merrin. There's nothing I can do.

Question: I can't figure out the ending. After Ig kills Lee and turns to stone, it is implied that he and Merrin are reunited in the afterlife, but all we see is the opening scene of the movie. Is that the afterlife? If so, why would they say that they will love each other for the rest of their lives when they are dead?

Question: Three questions: 1. Does Ig have his name cleared? 2. What happens to Veronica the waitress after Ig gets revenge on her? 3. How come Ig's parents hate him and do they even miss him at all after his death?
