Bug: It is uncertain exactly what causes this, but sometimes, usually with bats, the quest counters for killing flying enemies won't tick up when killing them off screen with arrows. However, if you slow down a bit and let them appear on screen, then kill them, once you start shooting arrows off screen again, the quest count will start to tick up again, killing them off screen.

Other mistake: In the temple, there are some small floor platforms that are like a staging area where a podium or statue might go. A base of sort. They are just a couple of pixels on top of the floor and the Slayer will just walk over them. However, when going over them, it sort of triggers the flip animation of the Slayer sprites as if you're jumping through the air, for a couple of frames, then back to just walking. As if stepping on a small board makes you flip.

Continuity mistake: Roy was redesigned to make him look a little more different from Anna, as they both originally were dressed in purple with a red cape. Both having brown hair, they looked like just gender swaps of each other. So they redesigned Roy to have a blue cape and wear darker blue clothes with a brown jacket. However, his Steam trading card art is still his original design of purple clothes with the red cape and a tan jacket.

Continuity mistake: In the Forest, Higgens' tower is darker on the left side, indicating the light source or the sun is shining on it from the right. Yet the trees around it and Sarah Hanes' grave that is right next to the tower have their shadows on the right side, as if the sun is shining from the left.

Other mistake: In the Factory dimension, there are various buildings going by in the parallax scrolling background. One of the buildings has a large staircase and walkway up to a ledge where an entrance into the building should be below a window. However, there is no door on the building where one should be.

Character mistake: Once you unlock the quests to track down Victor in his house, you have to switch to the character Anna in order to progress. Once you get into his house, you eavesdrop on Victor's conversation with a strange stone, and it comes up that one of the slayers is a young lady with brown hair and green eyes. This is referring to Anna, and you have to be playing as her to do this quest and interact. However, if you're using the Bunny Outfit on Anna, her hair is blonde, but you can still do the quest.

Character mistake: If you go into the cave, there's a bundle of dynamite waiting to be lit and blown up. You're supposed to have a specific item to summon fire before you can light it. However, if you have bought the character Haskell from the shop, he's a being literally made of fire. Yet being made of fire, he still can't light the dynamite fuse without the special item.

Character mistake: The Fire Bat variant of the Bat and the Gamma Worm variant of the Worm are both listed as Fire Types in the bestiary and count towards the tasks of "Kill fire type enemies" in quests. However, the actual Wildfire enemies, which are literally made out of fire, are not considered fire types and don't count towards fire type kill quests.

Trivia: There's a secret on Bonus Stage 2. If you time the jumps right on the second part of the stage and go up high on top of the cave instead of going through it, there is a black hand-shaped monster. It doesn't do anything, but once you find it, you will never be able to find it again as it only appears once. And once you restart the game, you will be met with new title screen music.
