Factual error: In the kingdom selection screen, the section about the Venetians mentions the "Ri'Alto Islands." The name of the islands is Rialto, without apostrophes, and at no point in history (despite etymologically deriving from two separate words, Rivus Altus, "deep canal") it has been spelled that way.

Other mistake: In the introduction clips of the campaign, the historian is writing in Latin on a book with illustrations of armies and warring empires. The text he is writing though is from St. Augustin's "Confessiones."
