The map has written on it names of both regions and cities, but with no internal logic and consistency; some of the names (Sicily, Adriatic Sea) are in English, others in Italian (Sardegna, Napoli), and instead of the name of the region (Calabria) the name of its capital city (Catanzaro) is used (there's no dot to mark a specific city).
