Continuity mistake: After Scrooge props open Collie Baba's treasure chest only to discover that it contains nothing but clothes, he tosses them one by one onto Dewey - who's standing in between Huey and Louie. But a few frames later when Scrooge is through emptying the chest, Dewey stands in Huey's place without a pile of clothes on his head. (00:03:45)
Continuity mistake: On the way to finding Collie Baba's buried cave in the desert, Huey, Dewey and Louie keep switching positions with each other on the camel. (00:06:25)
Continuity mistake: After digging out Collie Baba's lost pyramid from beneath the sand, Scrooge turns the embossed entrance knob 90° clockwise. But in the next shot it suddenly returns to its original upright position. (00:08:15)
Continuity mistake: When exploring for Collie Baba's treasure in the pyramid, Scrooge tells Webby to use caution and stay close. But between shots, Scrooge is sporting his treasure hunting apparel and then his classic blue waistcoat. (00:09:00)
Continuity mistake: Before the third booby trap is tripped in Collie Baba's cave, Dewey uses his left hand to grab Dijon's torch - the other holds a bag of marbles. In the next shot all looks normal except for one thing: Dewey's marble bag is now on the floor, not in his hand. (00:10:05)
Continuity mistake: When Scrooge shovels the last of Collie Baba's treasure into his sack, Huey can be seen leaning on the basket's edge from outside. But from one shot to the next, Huey's location changes from outside the basket to inside. (00:13:10)
Continuity mistake: Before Merlock escapes from the temple with Collie Baba's treasure, he throws a switch that begins to lower Scrooge and the others into a pit of giant scorpions. Now they have no choice but to use the tethered basket as cover (which, at one point, was loaded with treasure). So Huey, Dewey and Louie break out their pocket knives and start cutting away at the ropes. But between shots, Dewey and Louie instantly switch places with one another. And after Launchpad flips the basket over everybody's head like a turtle shell, all of the remaining rope fragments disappear from the platform. (00:14:30)
Continuity mistake: The telephone on Scrooge's desk briefly disappears after his maid delivers an invitation to the archaeological society ball. (00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: When Duckburg Daily News calls Scrooge for information about Collie Baba's treasure, he slams the receiver down and says "None of your business." Then, in between shots, the receiver rotates 180° on its own. (00:19:05)
Continuity mistake: In one shot after Genie grants Webby's wish for a baby elephant, her entire left arm is temporarily colored in pink instead of its usual white. (00:24:00)
Continuity mistake: After Mrs. Beakley drags Scrooge upstairs to see Webby's elephant, notice how the bookshelves near Scrooge's right side go into disarray from one frame to the next, and most of the books vanish as well. (00:25:30)
Continuity mistake: When Genie is in the boys' bedroom frantically looking for a hiding place to avoid being spotted by Scrooge, Huey opens the closet door. Behind him is a computer table with its top drawer pulled open. Once Scrooge enters the room and starts asking questions about a ruckus downstairs, a set of headphones appears hanging from the drawer's edge all of a sudden. (00:26:10)
Revealing mistake: When Webby and the others are standing outside of the window watching Scrooge pace back and forth in anger, she casts no shadow on the patio. This is revealed when she moves left at one point. (00:28:50)
Continuity mistake: In the scene following Huey's ice cream sundae wish, Scrooge sends everybody off to bed for the night. But as Huey and Dewey begin walking upstairs, their clothes briefly change color. (00:29:20)
Continuity mistake: After settling into bed on the top bunk, Genie rests his hands behind his head. But in the following shot where an owl passes by the window, his hands grip the sheets instead. (00:29:50)
Revealing mistake: When Genie is on the top bunk getting ready to fall asleep, the shadow of an owl sweeps across the bedroom wall. But in mid flight the owl's shadow abruptly stops moving. (00:29:50)
Continuity mistake: When arguing with Duckworth about the archaeological society ball and Launchpad, Scrooge busts through a pair of doors and steps onto the hallway's red carpet. But in the next shot he steps onto the carpet a second time. (00:33:40)
Continuity mistake: The color of Scrooge's dining room table near the fireplace changes from yellow to black within a series of shots where Webby's stuffed animals wreak havoc on the mansion. (00:38:50)
Continuity mistake: Huey, Dewey and Louie's mini police cruiser vanishes from its place on the hallway's red carpet after Scrooge discovers that G. is actually a real genie. (00:38:55)
