Continuity mistake: In this scene we see John Wayne and others milking goats. The goats then get startled by a baby elephant and Wayne falls backwards on to the ground and you can see he takes the bowl with his right hand and the milk is thrown out of the bowl. In the next shot of him close up the bowl is on his head like a helmet when the bowl never even went on his head as he fell backwards. (01:09:20)
Continuity mistake: Early in the movie, just after "Dallas" arrives, they are hunting giraffes and Dallas is in the back of the pickup truck. Dallas has a camera that disappears, reappears from shot to shot.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where "Dallas" has just introduced herself and is at the breakfast table with John Wayne, as the scene cuts from one angle to another, her arm holding the coffee cup is up, then down, then up, etc. when in fact it should just be in one position.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Dallas is in the bathroom there is a clothes rack on the wall. On top of it, there is a shelf and two objects possibly a red cloth and a black tin. In the wide angle shot of the bathroom they are close together and then when we get another shot of the bathroom the black tin has moved to the end of the shelf.
Continuity mistake: When Dallas is giving the two baby elephants a bath with the hose, her lower pantlegs get drenched as she is kneeling on the wet ground. When she gets up to turn off the water, her pants are now mostly dry.
Continuity mistake: She sets the letter from the zoo on the right side of the plate; in the next shot she retrieves it from the left side.
Character mistake: In the opening scene when John Wayne calls the other truck, the response is "go ahead John", not Sean.
Suggested correction: I listened several times and I heard "Sean" every time.
Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie you can see "Dallas" wearing a red shirt in the passenger seat of the catching truck in the scene just before "The Indian" was hurt, before the opening credits. She hasn't arrived in the movie yet.
