Factual error: Sosuke rescues Ponyo from the sea, and then puts her in a bucket of tap water. Fresh water would kill a saltwater fish.

Correction: I'm literally watching the movie now and this does not happen. He calls her Brunhilde, and she says she's not Brunhilde, she's Ponyo. Only then does he say the name Ponyo.
