Continuity mistake: When Rimbaud unpacks his writing materials at his home, his pen is already on the table when the camera faces the desk, but when it focuses back on him, he is taking out his pen from his overcoat.

Continuity mistake: When Verlaine throws the fish and flour at Rimbaud in a fit of rage, we can see that the fish lands nowhere below the window. However, when Rimbaud climbs out of the window, he slips on the fish.

Continuity mistake: After Rimbaud and Verlaine finishes wrestling in the hotel room, as the camera faces them both, Rimbaud's hair is swept to the left, but when the camera focuses on Rimbaud, his hair falls naturally.
