Continuity mistake: In the end of the movie, they show Henry being put into the ambulance on the stretcher. The next shot is of Sam and Naomi Watts's character and then another shot of the ambulance, where Henry's body on the stretcher is outside the ambulance again.

A psychiatrist ,Sam Foster (Ewen McGregor) gets an unusual patient, Henry Letham (Ryan Gosling) who says that he is going to commit suicide on Saturday midnight. This has Sam all worried and wanting to try his best to save Henry, while at the same time holding a firm grip on reality himself. As Sam himself is losing his mind, he has to keep up with reality to be able to save Henry.
