The Best Years of Our Lives

The Best Years of Our Lives (1946)

1 corrected entry

Corrected entry: Fred Derry's wife Marie is shocked to see him in civilian clothes for the first time, however, in a later scene he promises to "fix you a nice meal, honey, just like I used to do behind the fountain before the war".

Correction: Meaning he was in the military prior to the war. Armies don't just appear by magic when war breaks out, and the US has a very large army in the early 40s, before they entered World War 2.
