9.8/20. One of the best horror movies of the 80's. It still holds up well today. Felicia Rose says so much with her blank expression without saying anything. It should be held up in high esteem alongside Nightmare On Elm Street, Friday the 13th, Halloween, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The atmosphere of the camp is chilling, almost saying evil's on the prowl. The opening orchestral score is excellent, Aunt Martha is funny despite being a disturbed woman. I would definitely recommend this one to anyone who's looking for a forgotten horror movie from the golden age of horror from 1974's Black Christmas to 1991's Freddy's Dead:The Final Nightmare.Excellent.
A cult classic. Some shocking ways to die, and the ending was not expected at all.
Trivia: Some fans have speculated that there may really be two killers in this movie, that it's actually Ricky Thomas killing everyone up until he gets beaten up by the camp owner Mel Kostic, and that the only people Angela kills in this film are Mel and Paul. However, the film never confirms this for certain.

Answer: Watch his first scene at his aunt's. He doesn't speak at all. Clearly Angela/Peter has had a withdrawn personality since the death of his father and older sister. So doing activities with other kids is one thing he wouldn't do, as for eating, a lot of kids don't at first if they miss home.
