Factual error: In a scene set in May 1960, Paul Williams and his group are singing the Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs song "Stay," but Herald Records did not release "Stay" until August 1960.
The Temptations (1998)
1 factual error
Directed by: Allan Arkush
Starring: Charles Malik Whitfield, Christian Payton, D.B. Woodside, Terron Brooks
Continuity mistake: When Otis gets off the tour bus and comes over to kiss Josephine, his hair changes from processed to natural, before he kisses her.
Otis Williams: Oh yeah, not the same but nominated for a Grammy.
Trivia: In an interview with Leon, he states that he ad-libbed the line "Ain't nobody coming to see you, Otis." Charles Malik Whitfield, who plays Otis, was bothered by this, and his reaction is genuine.
