Nuns on the Run

Revealing mistake: Near the beginning of the film, when Charlie and Brian steal the Honda there is a shot where Brian says "Charlie, slow down, think". By comparing the view outside of the car window in this shot to the surroundings of the previous and subsequent shots, we can see that it was filmed out of sequence, and in a different part of the parking lot.

Revealing mistake: While running away from Morley and Abbott and the Triads, there is a shot where Charlie and Brian take cover behind a red car. This single shot is the amalgamation of two different shots because the camera suddenly jerks to the side, as seen by the position of the "Priority Avenue" sign in the background.

Revealing mistake: During the robbery of the Triads, Charlie and Brian put a bomb in Abbott and Morley's car. In the shot of the car blowing up, the car is parallel to a brick wall. However, there was no brick wall near the car when Abbott and Morley parked it.

Other mistake: After Charlie and Brian steal the Triad's money, a chase scene breaks out involving yelling, gunfire, and an exploding car. However, after Charlie and Brian run out of gas in the Toyota, there are instances of people walking around in the background as if nothing is happening. One person is carrying groceries while another calmly walks through a parking lot.

Brian Hope: Look Charlie, some con men sell life insurance. The church sells afterlife insurance. It's brilliant! Everyone thinks you might need it, and no-one can prove you don't.
Charlie McManus: The church isn't selling anything, Brian.
Brian Hope: Oh! Well, if the church isn't selling anything how did it get to be so rich? Just remember, wherever there's a deep human need there's money to be made.
Charlie McManus: You think so?
Brian Hope: Of course, look at Kentucky Fried Chicken.
