Visible crew/equipment: At the beginning when the woman with the bratty kid gets out of her car, a film light is reflected in the left side of the window.
Audio problem: After Captain Lasard delivers his inspiring speech to "Nail these punks," one of the cops stands up and yells "Let's kick ass." even though his lips aren't moving.
Suggested correction: Looked like his lips were moving to me.
They weren't moving. He had a big smile on his face but for him to say, "Let's kick ass." would be impossible without his lips making the necessary movements to say it or with an enormous smile.
I just watched this movie and his lips WERE moving.
I've seen the scene and the mistake is valid. His mouth doesn't move in any significant way for him to say what is dubbed over. His lips barely move as if he simply took a breath.
Lt. Mauser: Any day now, Mahoney, and your little ass is mine.
Mahoney: You wanted to see me, sir?
Lt. Mauser: Mahoney, didn't your mother teach you how to knock?
Mahoney: It depends. Sir? I hope this isn't going to be too personal? I heard what you said about my little butt and I don't know how to break this to you, sir, but I'm straight.
Question: When Jones sees his green grocer being attacked by two thugs, he immediately fights them. Wouldn't he be charged with police brutality considering that he hit them first and really worked them over?
Answer: First: they threw the first punches, which Jones blocked. Second: they were criminals assaulting a member of the public. Third: they continued attacking him, so he continued to fight them.
