Continuity mistake: When Jane and Calogero first meet in front of the school, a couple walk down the stairs and in the next shot the same couple are back on top of the stairs.

Continuity mistake: When Calogero is sitting on his stoop before Phil gives him free peaches, he has a ball in his hand. In the next shot the ball disappears.

Continuity mistake: At the end of the film when Joe Pesci stops in at Sonny's funeral, he begins to talk with C. You can see the scar on Joe Pesci's forehead. Between shots, the scar disappears, or lightens up, as if it were not there. (01:48:30)

Continuity mistake: In the scene near the end of the film where C is alone at Sonny's funeral and Joe Pesci walks in, the rosary beads on the dead body's hands change position several times. (01:47:00)

Continuity mistake: When C is fixing his bike on the sidewalk, if you look close his hands are black from the grease on his bike chain. When he goes in to meet Sonny, both of his hands are clean.

Continuity mistake: When Sonny is letting a young C shoot craps and tells Frank "Coffee Cake" to go to the bathroom because he doesn't want C looking at him when he rolls the dice. Coffee Cake is wearing a beige short-sleeve shirt and even though he is shown in the bathroom in the next scene when C is about to roll the dice, Coffee Cake's beige shirt and arms are shown at the end of the crap aisle as if he was never sent to the bathroom in the first place. Continuity mistake: 20 minutes into the movie, the detectives bring Calogero out to the street to identify who he saw with the gun. You see Calogero walk by Slick, who has his hands around a parking meter with his shirt open and unbuttoned. In the next shot, you see Slick again, but now his shirt is buttoned up.
