The date of Anna and Eric's wedding is October 3rd. This date holds special significance in the original Mean Girls film, where Lindsay Lohan has a memorable exchange with her crush, Aaron Samuels, in which he asks her the date, and she replies, "October 3rd." The reference was reportedly an accidental inclusion that the crew only noticed when it was printed on the wedding invitations, but Lohan encouraged the crew to keep it in the film.
