Continuity mistake: At various points throughout the movie, the position of the lamp on the end table (to Charlie's left where he usually sits on the couch) changes, from the base being in the back corner, to mid-way along the chair's arm, to being centered along the rear edge, to near the middle of the table, etc. As the lamp's position changes, the other objects on the table also change. Trivia: The prosthetic suit Brendan Fraser had to wear for the film weighed nearly 300 pounds, caused his muscles great strain and would leave him with vertigo when it'd be removed at the end of the day. He said that wearing it gave him much more respect and empathy for people who struggle with obesity, as he realised how strong they have to be both physically and mentally.
