Stupidity: In addition to leaving Lulu alone in the SUV (with the sun shining into her cage) while he went target shooting or drinking, Briggs also left Lulu after giving her two of his OTC allergy pills and told Lulu to get into the cargo area of his SUV after the rear window was smashed and without checking for and cleaning up glass fragments that could cut Lulu.
