Continuity mistake: In the scene where Chris O'Donnell and Kiefer Sutherland are riding in the forest together, they are both on white horses. Kiefer Sutherland's white horse gets killed, and he later rides into Calais on a brown horse. In a later scene when the four are riding together to gather all the Musketeers, there are sometimes three white horses and one brown horse, and sometimes there are four white horses.
Athos: You go back and you tell the Cardinal we will continue to perform our sworn duty, which is to protect the King, and we will use every means within our power to fight him.
Rochefort: Bold words. I look forward to ramming them down your throat.
Trivia: Paul McGann plays both Girard (the man out to revenge his sister's honor) and the Cardinal's Guard who is killed by D'Artagnan out by the city ruins.
Question: Is D'Artangne's gold sword the same prop sword which Ignio Montoya used in The Princess Bride?

Answer: No. Inigo's sword has a jeweled hilt. D'Artagnan's is not jeweled.
