2017s The Mummy is a Dark Universe story about Tom Cruise telling jokes and falling everywhere while the titular Mummy, played by Sofia Boutella, chases him with her minions. Lots of action, CGI and a few words from Russell Crowe and Annabella Wallis as an archeologist and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. It's OK for a monster movie with some Mission: Impossible and earlier Mummy montages thrown in.

Continuity mistake: Vale's left eye (or possibly both) change to white in his transition/death on the plane. However when he is walking towards others the others before being shot it is his right that is white. (00:28:00 - 00:29:00)

Trivia: At one point, Jenny grabs a large book and hits a man over the head with it during a scuffle. She actually hits him with a book that is modeled to look similar to the "Book of the Dead" from the 1999 "Mummy" film, and even includes the star-shaped key-hole cover. A cute "blink-and-you'll-miss-it" inside-joke thrown in as a nod to the previous "Mummy" franchise.

Question: When fighting Nick in the Crossrail, why didn't Ahmanet just stab Nick with the dagger? Now that the stone was inserted, she could have stabbed him and release Set.
