Continuity mistake: Laing is sleeping in the buff on the balcony. Overhead shot and he has his hands on his loins, view from inside the apartment and his hands are off his legs (and not really in the position of someone sleeping). New shot and they are somewhere in between, with the left hand at the side of his body, but turned horizontal, so more leaning than gripping as it was earlier. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: Laing and Charlotte are having a smoke on the terrace, talking about Wilder who just banged at the door, and with Toby and his kaleidoscope. Laing puts down the lighter and cigarette packet, shown in the overhead shot. Neither him or Charlotte touch them, but in the next overhead shot roughly 30 seconds later, both objects have moved. Continuity mistake: When Sienna Miller says "sorry" after dropping the bottle of champagne from her apartment on a naked Tom Hiddleston, in the faraway shot she is holding her glass in hand, but in close-up she is chuckling with the free hand in front of her mouth. (00:05:05)
Continuity mistake: Laing messes up the mechanism he was trying to help Royal's wife with. A long portion of wire is misplaced by the time he needs to hightail, but when we see Mrs. Royale turn around and look at him, the panel shows nothing messy or exposed. (00:21:00)
Continuity mistake: Munrow, in the dark, forcefully grabs a candle from a lady. Next shot as he shoves people aside to bang against the elevator door, he has no candle. Following shot and he's back roaming in the dark with his candle. (00:48:55)
Continuity mistake: Mr. Royal is explaining the project of the towers to Laing; he turns around to point at the "distal phalanx of the index finger", using his left hand. Which turns into the right hand at the close-up. (00:18:05)
Revealing mistake: In the shot where Laing hears the horse neigh, at the top right corner of the screen that there are trees on the other side of the wall, where only the blue sky was before. (00:19:15)
Continuity mistake: When Royale's wife is smoking in close-up watching Laing enter the elevator, the cigarette she had and that was mostly whole is looking even newer, with barely the tip burnt into ash. (00:21:05)
Continuity mistake: In their first scene, Charlotte pushes Wilder inside. She does it having her cigarette in the right hand outside the apartment, but in her left at the cut past the curtains. (00:06:00)
Continuity mistake: Dr. Robert Laing is in front of the car where Munrow died. In the close-up, there's a much bigger pool of blood in front of it compared to the wider angle. (01:01:35)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning while Laing goes to the pool area he says hi to the pregnant woman in the water, and there is a girl beside her who switches side from shot to shot. (00:15:30)
Other mistake: The protagonist is reading the booklet illustrating the wonders of his home. Something strange about it; the paragraph by the title "State of the art lift system", with a big lift icon to the side, has merely the first couple of lines talking about lifts, and then moves on, without any transition, to the subject of pets, adoption and all related matters. (00:03:35)
