Continuity mistake: When Hippety Hopper watches the mouse attempt to pull the plug out of the outlet, Hippety Hopper's nose briefly changes colour from black to brown.

Continuity mistake: When the captain of the boat tells the lightkeeper to keep the light on, you can see the lightkeeper has his hands on the window ledge, but in the next shot his fingers are now over the ledge.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester appears in an attempt to break to reconnect the extension cord, you can see there is a piece of cord on the floor. But when we see Sylvester being electrocuted, the cord has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Sylvester hammers the nails over the plug to prevent Hippety Hopper and the mouse from turning off the light, the nails change position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When the little mouse cuts the extension cord with a pair of scissors, he drops the scissors before running off. But when Sylvester appears, the scissors are nowhere to be seen.
