I watched this series on Disney +

This was an interesting little short showing some of Peggy's life right after the end of WW2. It functions as a sort of pilot for the later Agent Carter TV show that seems loosely connected to this short but it's unclear if this is still canon to that show, as there's a completely different guy leading the agency. In fact some of the stuff that happens in the two seasons of the show kinda contradict what happens in this short so I'd honestly say it's no longer canon.

That said, if you treat this as a pseudo pilot for the show, it still works and you just think maybe the director got fired or quit in the time between this short taking place and the following Carter show. However, this short isn't really important to the show or add much to it and can easily be skipped.

Mistake Status: I'll probably do this short at some point, especially if I decide to do the whole show. But very low priority right now.

Quantom X

Howard Stark: It's called a bikini.
Dum Dum Dugan: The bikini. You invent it?
Howard Stark: No, the French.
Dum Dum Dugan: Bikini.

Chosen answer: No, they are not related. His father used to work with Agent Carter but that is as close as it gets.
