Continuity mistake: When Donald collapses after running into the tree, there is a patch of grass underneath him that disappears in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When Chip is hit on the head by a stone a second time, Dale helps him up and takes away the stone. When this happens, you can see there is nothing on the ground behind Chip but in the next shot grass has suddenly appeared.

Continuity mistake: When Chip and Dale attempt to move the large walnut (Donald's workplace), you can see there is nothing next to Chip, but in the next shot a stone has appeared.

Continuity mistake: When Dale falls over backwards when he sees the large walnut in front of him, there are three walnuts behind him that change position between shots.

Continuity mistake: When Chip and Dale are picking up the walnuts, you can see there is a walnut at the end of the path in front of Dale, but when we see Dale in the next shot, the walnut has disappeared and a leaf has appeared next to him.

Continuity mistake: When Chip and Dale fall out of the tree after Donald had drilled in a hole in it to get some nuts, Dale lands on the ground and you can see there is nothing on the bottom of the tree. But when we see Dale just a few seconds later, he is now sitting next to the tree and grass has suddenly appeared.

Trivia: When Donald gets blasted by the log "cannon" at the end of the cartoon, a "Goofy Holler" can be heard.
