Continuity mistake: When Daffy eats all of Elmer's food to check for poison, he stops eating for a second and there is a pea and some mashed potatoes on his plate. After a quick cut to Elmer, we return to Daffy, and his plate is now completely empty.

Continuity mistake: When Elmer is introduced to his food at the table, it's close to him, but in the next shot, it's far away from him.

Continuity mistake: When we see a close-up of the eaten chicken in front of Elmer, you can see that there is a knife, a cup and a salt shaker next to it. In the next shot, they have all disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Elmer calls for his two dogs to catch Daffy, you can see the white dog is by the brown dog when Elmer tells them to "get on his twail", but when we see the brown dog sniffing one of Daffy's footprints in the next shot, the white dog has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Daffy has finished performing his operations act on Elmer, you can that the left side of Elmer's face and his nose are bandaged, but when we see him sharpening his axe in the next shot, the bandages have disappeared.

Continuity mistake: Before Daffy puts the hot towel on Elmer, you can see that Elmer has two hairs on his head. When Daffy puts the towel on Elmer and pulls off his head, the hairs have disappeared, and when Daffy puts Elmer's face back on his head, the hairs have reappeared.

Continuity mistake: Before Elmer's two dogs shake hands on agreeing to catch Daffy, one of them draws a diagram which is a dotted line and a circle with a cross in it. After the two dogs run into a tree, they go back to their meeting point and this time the diagram is completely different to the one drawn before.

Audio problem: When Elmer grabs his gun and says "Ooh, I should have known better!" his mouth doesn't move.
