Revealing mistake: When Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman drag her sister's "dead" husband/fiancé into a room, the door hits him on the head and his eyes move.
Revealing mistake: During the exorcism, we see the women grabbing hands to form the circle, but it is the same three pairs of hands repeated several times, giving the illusion that all 12 women did it.
Revealing mistake: When Sally and Gilly bury Gilly's boyfriend, you can see the "dead" body breathing heavily while it's raining on him.
Continuity mistake: When they do the spell on Nicole's boyfriend, Nicole cuts his top, then in the next scene, it's a different, buttoned up top, not the one that Nicole cut in the first scene.

Sally Owens: You'd think after three hundred years they'd come up with a better rhyme.
Trivia: The entire outside of the house is fake - it's just a shell. Even the blossoms on the trees are fake - they're silk.
Question: Near the end when Sally is in the circle with Gilly, there is a series of flashbacks. There is a shot of a woman with curly shoulder length hair surrounded by white. Who is she? She's not their mother as she has long straight hair.
