Continuity mistake: At the start, a door opens up to reveal Jack standing there before going down a hallway. In this first shot, he is not wearing the ceremonial ribbon thing around his neck but rather holding it in his hand. Then suddenly it appears already around his neck in the next shot of him from behind and then visible from the front. It's a little more visible or evidently missing in the colour version of the film. (00:02:21)
Factual error: The owl that JP was looking at made a "who who" sound. The owl may appear to be a Snowy Owl (one many people are familiar with), but it is a Barn Owl. Barn owls are not "true" owls and it is the true owls who "give a hoot." Barn owls don't hoot; they make a screeching or squealing sound which can be piercing (and eerie to some people). (00:32:50)
Deliberate mistake: While roasting marshmallows, Henry's marshmallow caught on fire with the flame shooting about 6", then a foot+ high. A marshmallow subjected to such intense heat/flame for many seconds would not be stuck to the stick and stay stuck with repeated forceful flicking or "whipping" of the stick like Henry did. When the marshmallow finally flew off the stick and landed on a camper's head (higher than would be expected), it would be small/hard/charred, not large and still soft/white in the middle. (00:35:03)

Continuity mistake: In the very last scene when Bo is hugging Stanley before the game it reveals his "Never Back Down" tree tattoo on his lower left arm. Yet right after in the closing credits and presumably depicting that same game it showed his left arm after taking a shot with the tattoo removed.

Continuity mistake: The patch of dirt/mud that Briggs had on the left side of his face near his eye when he woke up tied to a chair in Gus' barn disappeared and reappeared (in a different shape) a few times (e.g, when he knocked over his chair, when he stood up, and when he was inside Gus' house). Continuity mistake: During the "Quiet Game," the taser model changes when Rachel licks it and finishes the challenge.
