Factual error: Eazy-E sports a black Chicago White Sox hat with a white logo early in the movie in 1986, but the logo didn't officially rollout until 1991.
Factual error: At one point in the movie, some characters are gathered in the break room that has bags of chips. One of these chip bags is a Doritos bag which has the modern logo. This logo was not implemented until 2013.
Factual error: Einar walks away from his wife in Paris to go to a peep show, then there is suddenly a scene where he walks the streets of Copenhagen. It's clear that the marble church of Copenhagen is in the shot.
Factual error: Richardson's watching the World cup final (1966) way way before Reg got married to Frances (1965).
Factual error: In the early part of the movie, there is a shot of the outside of Triple O's bar. The scene takes place in 1975 and "Coors" is advertised on the outside of the bar. Coors beer was not available in Boston/East Coast in 1975. It was only available from the 1980's.
Factual error: In the 1998 part of the movie, before the launch of the iMac, Steve is wearing his trademark black turtleneck and jeans for the presentation. At the actual launch in 1998, Steve wore a suit.
Factual error: Toby Jones/Littlewood is shown as an Officer in the Royal Artillery, wearing a Sam Browne belt. Artillery Officers wear a crossbelt with a fuse pouch, not a Sam Browne.
Factual error: The film opens in 1914, then states "12 years earlier," meaning 1902, yet there are many references to Queen Victoria as being alive. She died in 1901.
Factual error: At the beginning of the movie, the Battle of Scheveveningen (1653) is depicted. However some of the British ships sport a gaff-rigged mizzen spanker, which was not introduced until late in the next century.
Factual error: In the aerial shot of an overpass in Las Vegas, right after the scene where the cast drives off in taxis, an Avicii billboard is visible in the background. Avicii only grew to fame after the housing market crash. (01:30:00)

Factual error: When Philippe Petit and his friends leave the Chinese restaurant after celebrating his walk, the subway station behind them shows signs for the J, M and Z trains. The scene takes place in 1974, but the Z train did not exist until 1988.
