Continuity mistake: Carl's cop car has the licence plate "G2298" which is printed thinly on the licence plate. Then, when the vine wraps around his car, and bends it in two, the licence plate is now "CFJB95", printed very boldly on the plate. Continuity mistake: The girls are round Sam's Grandma's house drinking lemonade. Then when Grandma runs over to take their cups away, a cushion appears on Teeny's lap between shots. (01:11:55)
Continuity mistake: Mr. Svenning's junior college class ring mysteriously jumps from his left hand to his right hand just in time to get stink-palmed by Brodie.
Continuity mistake: Tai and Cher are hugging when they are watching Travis' skateboarding competition. Cher starts out on the left and Tai on the right. They hug in that position and then mysteriously end their hug on opposite sides.
Continuity mistake: When Lewis is on the phone with Congressman Jarrett, the phone Lewis is holding jumps back and forth from his left hand in the wide shots to his right hand in the close-ups. (01:27:15)
Continuity mistake: Kate is speaking to Charlie on the phone when he says he's met a woman. The length of the wire changes from short to very long instantly.
Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the film, Elinor is gardening and has dirt and mud all over her hands. Upon realising Edward is riding toward the house, she hurriedly wipes her hands on her apron, smearing a good amount of dirt on it. When she then removes the apron while standing inside the house, both the apron and her hands are barely dirty.
Continuity mistake: When Lucy is in the Callaghan's house at Christmas at the very end of the scene it shows her stocking and her name on it is in white letters. However, in the scene where Mary comes in and tells the family that Lucy is pregnant, the camera pans to Jack who is standing right beside Lucy's stocking, only this time her name is in black letters.
Continuity mistake: When Pocahontas sees John Smith for the first time, John is climbing up a cliff face and then a tree. You can see his musket strapped to his back as he's climbing. But after he tells Thomas he's getting a better look and then is shown in the tree, his gun has vanished.
Visible crew/equipment: When Billy shows that he stole the shirt from Frank and lifts it up, you can see the microphone wire on the side of his stomach.
