Continuity mistake: In the scene where Gard telepathically fights an alien, you see his nose bleeding. Then the alien explodes, and in the next shot of Gard's face, the blood under his nose has vanished, only to return in the next shot of his face.
Continuity mistake: During the final fight between Jean-Claude and the bad guy, they are both holding onto a shotgun. Initially the barrel of the gun is in J-C's left hand. But without either of them letting go of the gun, suddenly the gun switches end-for-end and the stock of the gun is in J-C's left hand. It looks like they probably re-filmed the last of the fight so the bad guy could use his right hand to hit J-C with the butt-end of the gun.
Continuity mistake: At the end of the trial, when he goes out of the tribunal, Daniel Day-Lewis has a different shirt - a different tone of green.
Continuity mistake: When Arnie and Jay arrive at their grandmother's candy store to stay with her, their Aunt Bella is making ice cream sundaes for them. Watch the whipped cream and cherries on top of both sundaes, they go from melted to fresh again between shots.
Continuity mistake: As the young Navigator is going to catch the train, the Union Jack flag at the end of the platform is upside down.
Continuity mistake: When the Detectives are talking to the Chief about the Blues the Chief is peeling an orange: which gets peeled, the skin is thrown down on the desk, then it gets peeled again until the detectives leave the room when the orange peel hits the desk again.
Continuity mistake: There is a whole sequence where the two main characters go to a mall. They are supposedly in the East Bay Area (Oakland, California). When they come out of the mall, there is a prominent sign for "The Broadway". That chain of stores does not exist in Northern California.
Continuity mistake: When Chuck spills milk on Gloria, her face and hair get completely wet. She starts screaming and yelling at him up the stairs. When she does, she's completely dry and clean. She didn't have time to clean herself. Really obvious.
Continuity mistake: During most of the movie, Miklo has these incredibly blue contacts on. However, in some scenes (also closeups!) his eyes are the actor's natural grayish-green color.
Continuity mistake: After Miranda sings for the hotel manager, her guitar case closes and zips itself in a split-second.

Continuity mistake: When Sheela, Pru and their two dates leaves the house, Giddy is seen sitting upright by the table. When it cuts to a close-up of Giddy, she leans onto the table while resting her head on her hand. (00:38:05)
Continuity mistake: During her character's escape/fight scene, Melissa Moore runs into a room full of bad guys with an unbuttoned shirt, but when she enters the room, her shirt is buttoned up for a moment before becoming unbuttoned again for the rest of the fight. (01:14:44)
Continuity mistake: During Waverly's first chess match, her opponent makes a move, resulting in a board where the white knight and white king occupy non-adjacent squares. In the subsequent close-up shot, the white knight and white king suddenly occupy adjacent squares. Still in the close-up, Waverly picks up the white knight, but then is no longer holding it until partway through the next shot. Finally, Waverly picks the piece back up, places it down, and calls a (rather dubious) checkmate.
Continuity mistake: After Carly shoots the computer monitors for the first time, he shouts out Zeke shouts "No." His hair gets all messed up after he shouts out, but in the next shot his hair is perfect.
Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie when Don cannot sleep and goes to the cafe where he sees Jim, he enters the cafe and it is dark and raining. A few minutes later during the shots where the camera is on Jim, the window is behind him and you can now see it is very light outside.
Continuity mistake: The two buddies are eating and listening to the exposition news item about the "Zone of Personal Freedom." In the last part of the scene ("Who do you suppose are gonna call to clean that up?" the straw inside Chad McQueen's milkshake keeps swapping position between the middle and the rim of the glass. Continuity mistake: When Rick injects the formula into Jester, in the shot before, he's taking a laser-gun off of one of his robots, then to the shot of Jester, he's suddenly holding the syringe of the formula. (00:38:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ellen and Newland are seated in her living room by the fire, we see her take a cigarette holder charm off of her bracelet. Then, the next scene shows a closeup of the cigarette holder charm, and she is again removing it.
