Continuity mistake: In the scene where Barney is headed home from work right before his wife leaves him for the athlete, the sun looks like it's morning sun. After about 30-45 seconds into the conversation with his wife why she is leaving, the sun changes to a late afternoon. It is very apparent on the mailbox. The shadows completely change direction in a matter of minutes. (00:08:20)
Continuity mistake: At the jail bus arrival, the new African American inmate (with orange suit, as the other new ones) is getting off the bus handcuffed and wearing sleek black glasses, next shot, the glasses are gone (handcuffs still on). (00:10:18)
Other mistake: When Big Boys' men drive through the garage door trying to escape, Dick Tracy, the cops and the goons start opening fire. Yet, nobody seems to feel the need to stop and reload their weapon. They just keep firing without ever running out of bullets.
Continuity mistake: As the guys sit down for a beer and start talking, the viewing angle is from behind the one listening. As they switch to the other one who's about to say something the two bottles of beer magically turn around so you can always read the front label, no matter from which side the scene is shot.
Visible crew/equipment: When the lizard gets away, and is riding in the elevator, it is shown alone in there. In the next shot from the back of the lizard, you can see the shadow of the handler or crew-member's head moving around on the top of the lizard.
Visible crew/equipment: When Joey is showing one man a red car, when the man opens the car door to get in, a large white reflector screen and a crewmember holding it are reflected. (00:31:00)
Continuity mistake: When Lily breaks into Roy's apartment, she unscrews two small light bulbs in the fixture next to the front door, throwing that whole end of the hallway into darkness. When Roy returns home, he opens the door and the hallway is brightly lit again. (01:32:45 - 01:34:15)
Revealing mistake: When Graham and Stella are in bed, the camera shows only their arms intertwined as if he's lying on top of her. She's gasping loudly in response to his thrusting, but their arms never move back and forth to reflect this, so it's clear they're not really having sex.
Continuity mistake: After Mike punches Billy and pushes him down onto the bar, Billy stands up and shakes the popcorn from his face. The camera angle changes, and now Billy has more popcorn stuck to his face than he ever had before. (00:23:45)
Other mistake: At the very end, a plane just sitting at the gate was used to simulate one preparing to leave. The landing gear ground safety pins (with red streamers) were still installed as the engines were started, but the pins have to be removed beforehand to keep personnel clear when the engines are running.
Continuity mistake: In the strip club, the serial killer puts the dollar bill in the dancer's g-string twice.
Continuity mistake: When Baldwin kills the guy in the barber shop, he uses a Desert Eagle, a semi automatic pistol, yet it never ejects any shells.
Revealing mistake: There are a couple times you can see the tape that marks where the actors are supposed to stand in the shot. In the beginning, when Bobby and his brother walk in on Ernest trying to get a cleaning machine to work, look on the floor and you will see some tape in the shape of a T. Bobby will move his feet to the T. Also when a criminal begs for Nash's help because he killed someone, and Nash walks forward, look on the floor to see another tape T, and what do ya know, Nash stops right on the T.
Continuity mistake: In the car chase, the right headlight gets knocked out in the dark sedan, but later shots of the chase show both headlights working on all three cars.
Factual error: If you look at the band playing in the Regal Club the night the boy's mother first visits, the night where they first bring on the donkey, you'll notice that the drum kit used by the drummer in the band is, from what we can see, a 1980's Pearl kit, far too modern. (00:39:00)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the crooked sheriff is about to throw Kiefer Sutherland off the train, the sheriff doesn't have any blood on his trouser leg, but if you check the shot right before then, he does have blood on his trouser leg.
Continuity mistake: During the final shootout, when Ritchie comes down the stairs, there is one too few bullets fired for the hits on the walls.
Continuity mistake: Sailor Ripley and Bobby Peru are robbing the Feed Store in Texas. Bobby says "Say cheese" shooting one of the two men. We can see that his right hand is blown off. Cut to a shot of the two men searching for the hand and the victim has a bloody left stump. Then the store dog runs out with a right hand in its mouth.
Continuity mistake: When Joey meets the girl at the disco, when he lights her cigarette, she doesn't have her drink in her hand. Her right hand stays raised, with the cigarette, the whole time; but then one shot later, she's holding her drink and cigarette.
Continuity mistake: When the zombie Barry falls on Jordan, he's played by an obvious stunt double who isn't wearing any zombie make-up.
