Continuity mistake: When the Griswolds are driving to the tree farm, they are being harassed by the rednecks in the truck. Several shots of the front of the truck show only two passengers, but one view of the truck through its rear window shows three passengers. (00:04:17)
Continuity mistake: At the end, when they are celebrating, Wesley Snipes jumps into a player's arms. his helmet is on then knocked off but back on again in the next shot. (01:39:05)
Continuity mistake: When Hightower emerges from the pile of rubble he has dust on his shoulders and arms, but when he walks up to the bad guy the uniform is as good as new.
Visible crew/equipment: Just after our two heroes have been fired from Big Edna's, a black Porsche crosses the screen treating us to a perfect reflection of the sound man, complete with boom and Sennheiser microphone. Really, it's that clear. (00:07:55)
Revealing mistake: When they gather around to watch what happens when you put the slime in the toaster, you can see when the toaster starts popping that it has little pneumatic pistons attached to the bottom, making it jump. When the toaster gets picked up off the table you can view its power cord which is entirely too big - more likely air lines. (00:41:15)
Continuity mistake: When Wallace races to get crackers, check the packet's logo. When the camera angle changes it's different. (00:08:57)
Continuity mistake: In the bowling alley, 'Pal' comes over to speak to Tia. During their conversation, the camera pans to Maisie throwing a bowling ball; however Tia is now sitting alone. Pal has disappeared. (00:40:10)
Continuity mistake: When Fletch goes to visit Calculus in his shack, he knocks on the window and sees Calculus sitting in a chair, wearing boots. The next shot, as Fletch is walking inside, Calculus is now wearing socks and no boots, despite never having left the seated position, nor having had any time to slide his feet out of the boots. Continuity mistake: During the classroom scene, the spelling of of Genghis Khan's name on the chalkboard changes from "Genghis Khan" to "Ghenghis Khan" between shots. (00:04:50)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Belushi and Jerry Lee (the dog) enter the warehouse, Belushi askes everyone to stop what they are doing and even has the forklift driver lift him up so he can talk to them. Once he is done talking, he tells the lift driver to bring him down. The next few shots where they show Belushi walking to his car, if you look closely, you will see that the fork lift is back up in the air, but there were no sounds and there isn't another lift to be found. Revealing mistake: When Nathan walks into the classroom singing, the center sliding glass door on the back bookcase is closed in the initial overhead long shot, but in the tracking shots that door has been pushed to the side, so as not to see the reflection of the camera/crew as Nathan walks up the aisle following the camera. Continuity mistake: In one scene, Tango sees a man looking in through the screen door, he jumps the man and rips open the screen. In the next scene, the screen is back to normal and covering the man's face. (01:11:02)
