Mistake Plot hole: Sam seems inordinately amazed when Ivy gets out of her wheelchair on 12/24/03. A full year prior to that, she got out of the chair and danced with Sam at their son's wedding. Although that was detrimental to her recovery at the time, it seems that the incident was immediately forgotten, rather than everybody expecting her to be able to walk again soon.

Mistake Continuity: When Sheridan faked her own death in 2001 to escape from the drug cartel, she was buried alive. Timmy and Tabitha dug up the grave, and it was deep enough for Tabitha to stand in, upright, without her head reaching above the surface; it appeared to be the standard six feet deep. Then Julian had the grave filled in with cement after a token amount of dirt was shoveled in. But when the men broke apart the cement with their shovels, it was only about six inches thick. And when they finally dug through the cement and dirt, the coffin was also much closer to the surface than it had been before.

Mistake Plot hole: On 10/4/04, Paloma met Chad and she explained that she knew all about what had happened with him and Whitney and the Cranes. But how did she know about that? She talked very little with her family before she left the Crane Mansion, and she wasn't present when Eve and Julian told Katherine about what had happened. Yet she talked to Chad about the situation as if she'd heard about it from someone close to the situation.

Mistake Plot hole: Flashbacks have now shown that when Martin Fitzgerald and Katherine Crane left Harmony, Paloma was a small baby, while Julian was a teenager. But if that's the case, then Paloma would have to be older than Ethan, who was conceived on Julian's wedding night with Ivy, which we're now being told didn't happen until after Katherine and Martin left. But Paloma is only eighteen as of August 2004, having just graduated high school. Ethan is at least in his mid to late twenties, having been a practicing lawyer in 1999.

Mistake Plot hole: On 11/28/03, Sheridan come home from the hospital and is devastated to see her cottage full of teddy bears, because she believes that her baby has died. Antonio explains that the toys are still there because Luis didn't tell him that Sheridan would be coming home that day, and he's angry about it. But that doesn't make any sense at all. Sheridan disappeared just a few months into her pregnancy. When she was found (the night before the 11/28/03 episode takes place), she was no longer pregnant. So when and why did Antonio or anybody else go out and buy dolls for Sheridan's baby? It's been months since anybody anticipated a happy homecoming for mother and child.

Mistake Plot hole: Theresa goes to visit Chad and Whitney in LA the day after they moved there. Everybody acts as if they've already been there for a long time and Theresa has "finally" been convinced to visit them.

Mistake Revealing: On 1/11/07, Fancy turned off the light in her bedroom after Luis left to talk to Sam. Right after she did that, the offstage set lighting could be seen to become brighter so the scene would still be lit.

Mistake Revealing: On 9/6/05, Fancy told Alistair that she wanted to go to Paris, but he forbade it. She then complained that she gets bored staying in one place to long, to which he responded, "Then you're gonna have to teach yourself to amuse yourself. You gotta learn things to be alone." After that, his eyes glazed over slightly before he looked off to the side and moved his lips wordlessly for several seconds and then continued with his dialogue. The actor must have completely dropped a line, because this quotation made no contextual or semantic sense.

Mistake Continuity: On 3/4/05, Kay thinks about how Tabitha told her that "all Bennett women have powers." But it's not the Bennett women who have powers, but rather the Standish women. Kay happens to be both, because her father is Sam Bennett and her mother is Grace Bennett (nee Standish), but it's Grace's family that holds the powers, not Sam's. That's why Charity Standish and Grace's sister Faith had powers, as does Grace herself.

Mistake Plot hole: During the summer of 2004, a single day in the lives of the characters lasted more than six weeks for the viewers. During the night of this day, far more happened than could ever really happen in one night. In the middle of that night, after Theresa's ordeal on the cliff (which started at night and must have taken several hours by itself), Luis and Sheridan flew to Mexico and had plenty of time to explore Puerto Arena and fight with Paloma. Just the flight to Mexico should have taken most of the night in the first place.

Mistake Plot hole: There is no doubt that Luis must be the father of Sheridan's baby. Sheridan and Antonio did not make love at any point after July, 2002. When she regained her memory and remembered her love for Luis, she successfully held off Antonio until their wedding in December. Meanwhile, she did make love to Luis several times that summer and fall. Antonio never had a chance to even try to make love to Sheridan after the wedding, because he fell into a coma. He regained consciousness in March, 2003 at the same time that Sheridan learned she was pregnant. Why does she and everyone else act as if the baby could be either Antonio's or Luis's?

Mistake Plot hole: On 4/30/04, T.C. went into his shed and Liz was behind him and saw inside. T.C. just turned the knob and the door opened right up, so it definitely wasn't locked. But the shed is always locked; that's why nobody else has ever seen inside.

Mistake Plot hole: The Antonio-Sheridan-Luis triangle stopped making any sense a very long time ago. Antonio has been healthy since March, 2003, so there's no reason why anybody hasn't told him by October that Sheridan and Luis are in love (They couldn't tell him earlier due to his illness and the need to keep him very calm.). Furthermore, even though none of their friends or family said anything to Antonio, he surely would have heard by now. After all, the Cranes are front page news (witness the revelation of Ethan's paternity and the recovery of Sheridan from the ocean - the second time), so surely it would have been a huge tabloid scandal when Sheridan married the brother of her former fiancé.

Mistake Plot hole: On 10/2/03, LaToya walked up to Chad at the hospital and slapped him. But Puff Dog only gave her the address of the Crane apartment where Chad was staying, so how did LaToya find Chad at the hospital?

Mistake Plot hole: On 3/16/05, Jessica demanded that her father Sam not call her mother Grace to tell Grace about what happened to Jessica. After that, Sam asks Ivy how Jessica knew he was going to call Grace, and this results in Ivy being exposed for having prompted Jessica's outburst. However, right before Jessica got upset, Sam told her that he was going to tell Grace what happened. That's how Jessica knew he was going to call her. Why would it be a mystery to Sam how Jessica knew he was going to do exactly what he had just said he was going to do?

Mistake Plot hole: Theresa was convicted of murdering Julian Crane. But then Julian was discovered to have survived the shooting, and Theresa reversed her story and claimed that she only confessed to protect Ethan, whom she incorrectly believed to be the killer. Yet the investigation was never re-opened. I mean, I know Julian didn't actually die, but most police departments don't take very kindly to armed assault, either.

Mistake Plot hole: On 5/3/04, Liz followed T.C. into his shed and saw that it contains the car that he was driving on the night of his accident. A year ago, Liz stole T.C.'s key and looked into the shed for herself, and was shocked by what she saw. But when she went in with T.C., she had to ask what that car was, because she barely knew anything about his accident, which is the truth. So why was Liz so shocked to see a car with a big dent in it? That's a very normal thing to see in a shed, I would think.

Mistake Plot hole: On 5/17/04, Paloma arrived home with her friends, and they were all dressed in school uniforms, talking in Spanish about the homework they need to do for the next day. But it was long past midnight in Harmony; Kay's dress disintegrated at midnight, and it was only after that that Pilar collapsed and Julian was shot, and both had been treated at the hospital by the time Paloma was introduced in Mexico. Even if she was in far western Mexico (Puerto Arena is fictitious, so there's no way to know.), it must have been at least 10pm, or maybe even past midnight. So why was Paloma just getting home from school?

Mistake Plot hole: On 6/24/04, Martin and Katherine were in Mexico, reading a Harmony Herald article about Sheridan dropping the kidnapping charges against Luis. But that happened on the same day (not on the same day's show, but rather the same day in the characters' lives) as they were reading about it, so it would not have been printed in a newspaper yet. And even if it somehow had, it certainly could not have been transported to Mexico from a small town in New England on the same day.

Mistake Plot hole: Although Eve had told Grace about her secret past with Julian, she never told her that Liz was really her sister. She only told Julian, David, and Ivy. But in August, 2003, Eve and Grace began to have a conversation about the situation as if Grace already knew.
