When the rocks invade Goblin City, one Goblin runs into his home shouting, "I've had enough. I'm going to bed," in a close-up. His distinctive home and the one beside it, are the same homes seen near the large main gate, when Sir Didymus and the crazy riders squared off earlier (and other shots). However, in the close-up, things such as the long rope mounted to the pulley above the door disappear, and yet, pottery, baskets, etc., suddenly appear. See more...
Trivia
These all come straight from the Labyrinth DVD. The Goblin City required the biggest panoramic backcloth ever made. The Enchanted Forest that Sarah visits was constructed from 40,000 sprays of artificial leaves, 120 truckloads of tree branches, 1,200 turfs of grass, 850 pounds of dried leaves and 133 bags of linchen. The Shaft of Helping Hands was made up of 150 human hands as well as 200 foam rubber hands. The Bog of Eternal Stench has to be the best effect in the whole movie, it was made up of 30,000 gallons of water, mixed with a ton of celacol (stuff to thicken the water with, a paste almost) brown and blue dyes, liquid paraffin and hundreds of little glass beads were also thrown in to add to the effect. Labyrinth
Continuity: When Sarah arrives home with Merlin, she talks to her mom for a while. The white straps that hang down from her flower headband alternate from hanging in front to behind her shoulders during the shots.
