When David Bowie is wiggling the crystal ball on his hands/fingers in front of Jennifer Connelly (the gift he offered Jennifer Connelly in the beginning of the film, so she would give up the search for her brother) it is in fact someone standing behind him whose arms are David Bowie's pretend arms, as it is very difficult to do for a 'lay' person and even the artist (who couldn't see what he was doing) wasn't perfect, as it required numerous takes to get it right. Sarah sits in her fake room, picks up the book, 'The Labyrinth' and is seen in her reflection. She then says, "Through dangers...take back the child you have stolen." When the Junk Lady asks, "Don't you like your toys?" and also when she gives Sarah the music box, Sarah is seen. In each shot the things behind Sarah's shoulders and in front of her are different, yet, the Junk Lady did not add anything between these shots.
