Corrected entry: In 'Life Serial', when Warren is in the college corridor looking up at the camera there are loads of students around him, but when we see things on Jonathon and Andrew's monitors, the corridor around him is deserted.

I Was Made To Love You - S5-E15
Corrected entry: In "I Was Made To Love You", there's no way Spike could have known it was Warren who was into making robot girls. Only the Scoobies had figured it out, and the only time he talks to them in this episode they throw him out of the Magic Shop without mentioning Warren. Even though Spike knew that there was a guy called Warren out there creating robot girls, it took all of Willow's computer savvy and a little bit of luck for Buffy to find him. How would Spike, working only off the first name of a perfectly normal teenager who hadn't been in town in months, track him down?
Correction: In other episodes, the Scoobies go to Spike to get information when other informants are tapped out, meaning that he has access to sources they don't. Spike proves to have connections to demon bars, gamblers, etc. Because finding Warren was desperately important to him (to make the BuffyBot), he went to some mystical source that the Scoobies didn't know about. Demons, witches, and sorcerers do exist in Sunnydale, some of whom are probably capable of divining information.

Corrected entry: When Ben is being stalked by the demon while he's at his locker, he's wearing his medical clothing. Yet, moments later, when Glory grabs the demon from behind, she's back to her usual red dress and make up. If Ben and Glory were truly the same being in that moment, they would be wearing the same clothes, too.
Correction: In "Tough Love," Glory shows that she can change her clothes in an instant when her dress gets damaged in the fight with Willow and she replaces it. Same goes for makeup.

Revelations - S3-E7
Corrected entry: In 'Revelations', after Mrs. Post attacks Giles, when Buffy finds him he manages to tell her that living flame must be used to destroy the Glove of Mynhgon before the paramedics take him away. Since Angel already knew this, wouldn't it have been much more useful if he had warned her that Mrs. Post was an imposter?
Correction: This mistake falls under the "why" rule. Giles took a nasty knock to the head and is currently in an emergent medical situation, so it's not surprising that he isn't thinking clearly. In this state, it is more important to tell Buffy how to destroy the Glove immediately and prevent it from falling into anyone's hands than to tell her to keep it away from one specific person.

Corrected entry: In 'The Wish', considering the necklace is the source of all Anya's powers she's fairly careless with it. She puts it around Cordy's neck and lets her take it into the Bizzaro World, where it could easily have been smashed during either of the vampire attacks. In fact, if it hadn't been for Giles the necklace would have been incinerated.
Correction: This is an indicator of Anyanka's hubris; a character flaw, not a movie mistake. As she tells Giles, all her powers are not in the wishing that the amulet allows, but do use that amulet as a power source - she may not even be aware that destroying the amulet will also rob her of her immortality and strength. The magic amulet probably enjoys some amount of resistance to heat, cold, and magical intrusion and is very valuable, making individuals who encounter it unlikely to destroy it intentionally. No doubt Anyanka has some homing connection to it that she planned to take advantage of after her tour of "interesting" Sunnydale.

Corrected entry: In 'Bewitched, Bothered And Bewildered' we see the interior of Xander's room, and a guitar is resting against the wall in the background. Next season, in 'The Zeppo', he asks Oz if it's hard to play the guitar. If he already has a guitar you'd assume he knew how to play it, or had at least tried to learn in the past year.
Correction: Xander's character isn't often driven or committed to non-life-threatening causes. In Season 5's "The Replacement," his friends comment that the Xander clone is much more decisive and determined than original Xander. It's quite likely that such a person would pick up a secondhand guitar on a lark but never follow through and learn how to play it - after all, he did fantasize about playing the guitar to impress Buffy way back in "Teacher's Pet."

Corrected entry: At first Anya supposedly has no knowledge of what happened during the events of 'The Wish', since she is as mystified as Cordelia to find her necklace gone. During 'Doppelgangland', however, she seems to know exactly what happened; she discusses it with D'Hoffryn and recognises Vampire Willow as soon as she sees her.
Correction: At the end of "The Wish," Anya is in a state of shock: she's suddenly lost her center of power, been transformed into a human, and jumped dimensions all in an instant. It takes her a few minutes to adjust, take stock, realize what has happened, and start panicking, all of which happens after she runs off following Cordelia and attempting to grant more wishes. No wonder she's disoriented.

Corrected entry: In the alternative universe, the residents of Sunnydale are aware of the presence of the vampires, who are killing people in horrifying numbers. So why doesn't everybody move away, as they do in Season 7 when the apocalypse looms?
Correction: One might also ask how the Master escaped the Hellmouth without ending the world, or why Giles never called for assistance from the Slayer until now. The answer is that Anyanka has some degree of artistic license when granting wishes - we see this in season 7, when she accepts a wish to turn an ex-boyfriend into a worm and actually transforms him into a burrowing beast. Anyanka thinks Bizarro Sunnydale is more interesting with humans around to kill, so she creates a world that fulfills her interpretation.

Corrected entry: In the episode 'What's My Line Part 1' Spike says the ritual to restore Drusilla's health must be done on the night of a full moon, but in 'What's My Line Part 2' Giles says the ritual will take place on the night of a new moon.

Corrected entry: In the part of the movie before the team enters the hive, after the subway, when they are about to open the door and Alice asks the team who they are, you can see the boom ontop of their heads. It ducks in then goes out and then ducks right back in. This was seen on a DVD version.
Correction: The boom mike isn't there. The shot is framed very close to the actors' heads.

Corrected entry: When Neo throws up blood in the Matrix during the fight scene between him and Agent Smith, Neo also coughs up blood in the real world. Trinity says something like "He's killing him." and tears a piece of her shirt off to wipe away the blood on his mouth. Look carefully at Neo's mouth while she is doing this. Funny how there's no blood there.

Corrected entry: After Ed Norton's apartment blows up, he calls Brad Pitt and they meet at a bar. In the bar when Brad Pitt lights a cigarette its between his middle and index finger. The shot changes and then returns back to Pitt very quickly and the cigarette has changed positions to between his thumb and index finger.
Correction: The cigarette is still between his first two fingers when the camera comes back to him, but Pitt gestures and moves the cigarette to between his thumb and index finger.

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, the seminar leader says the name of the VR game is spelt 'eXistenZ'. When he writes the name out on the black board he spells it 'eXistEnZ'. (00:03:15)
Correction: While the second E is formed like a capital letter rather than the curled shape of a lower case letter, it's written on scale with the other lower case letters and probably is just an idiosyncracy of the character's handwriting.

Corrected entry: Late in the movie, there's a remark about the Belgian Airforce having been destroyed in the Sinai. The Sinai Desert is next door to Egypt - what was the Belgian Airforce doing there? They're supposed to defend European airspace, not African.
Correction: After the aliens began their destructive campaign, it quickly became clear that military forces would have to be moved away from population centers to protect them. It's not surprising that some European forces evacuated to northern Africa, where there are fewer targets.

Corrected entry: After Air Force One has just touched down in Area 51 we see a view of Air Force One in a hanger. Later when Will Smith brings the people in the motorhomes Air Force One is missing. Surely a Boeing 747 can't go unnoticed?
Correction: Area 51 probably has more than one hangar.

Corrected entry: When the Morse code signal is received in the Iraqi Desert, the man standing in the background is playing with his pistol the entire time. First he points it at the man across from him, then he holds down the paper with it, then in the next shot he's playing with it again.
Correction: There's nothing wrong here. The man is holding the pistol, then sets it on the table to weigh down some papers, then the scene changes to another area. Here, there is only one shot, and the man is holding the gun the entire time.

Corrected entry: Area 51 should be deep underground. The rocks should therefore provide everybody with enough cover for large bombs and even protection from the alien's primary weapon. When Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum go out to save the world in the alien spacecraft, the door to the surface opens. The launch site has its own door to the outside world. Why is it that the base is deep underground but has a big door leading to the surface that has no protection at all?
Correction: It's not simply a door into the outside, it's a launch tunnel at least one hundred yards long. There are heavy blast doors on the inside that are opened so that craft can exit, and it can be assumed that there are also similar doors on the other end of the tunnel. All this is a far cry from a simple surface door with no protection.
Correction: The Command Center is deep underground. Portions of the base are on the surface.

Corrected entry: When the aliens arrive for the first time and move over Washington, the shadow of the spacecraft goes over the Washington monument, but the shadow of the Washington monument is never seen, even though the sunlight is directed at an angle where it would be very large.
Correction: The shadow is running off into the lower right corner.

Corrected entry: The three helicopters hover by the alien space ship. The ship then shoots a beam to destroy all 3 of the helicopters. But the two smaller helicopters start to explode from the inside before they are hit with the ray.
Correction: All three of the helicopters show internal explosions before the energy ray hits them. However, it cannot be said with certainty that this is not how the ray is supposed to function. Perhaps the preliminary light from the ship indicates the release of radiation that can detonate the fuel and ammunition in the helicopters after a few seconds' exposure and the ray burst is an explosive charge to detonate whatever remains. The city-destroying weapon works in a fashion similar to this: the initial beam does very little damage, then the burst acts as a nucleus of destruction.

Corrected entry: When Jeff Goldblum is in the Oval Office waiting to talk to the president he stands up and closes his laptop and sets it on the desk with the opening side facing the front of the desk. When he tells the president "And the clock is ticking," he turns the already opened laptop around towards the front of the desk.
Correction: Goldblum sets up the laptop facing the desk chair, but he picks it up and closes it when he realizes that the President doesn't want to listen to what he has to say. When he starts explaining the satellite interference, he sets the laptop down on his side of the desk, away from the chair. Thus, to show the timer to the President, he opens the laptop in front of him and turns it toward the President, who is now standing at the desk in front of the chair.

Correction: While there are many students in the corridor he just left and one who walks past him into the main corridor as Warren rounds the corner, we never see anyone else in the side hallway with Warren. That is the reason he stopped in this particular hallway: so that he could test his microphone and the Three's tap into the school security cameras without being observed.
