Corrected entry: When Dr. Jekyll turns back into himself after saving the submarine, as he walks into Nemo's dining room you see Quatermain standing there clasping his hands in front of him and when the camera angle changes to a wide view Quatermain now has his hands behind him.

MCKD

Correction: In this scene, Quatermain is not seen standing still - he lifts the table back into position, then moves two chairs up to it, then the group moves to receive the message from Skinner. Nowhere is Quatermain standing with hands clasped. Perhaps at another point in the movie?

Corrected entry: How did M manage to produce 8 of his own Nautilus in such a short time? Surely in such a short time, even with 1000 men he wouldn't get that done. Besides, in order to copy it succesfully Dorian would have taken 100's, even 1000's of photographs of the entire ship. Since he made it the 'old' way, surely someone would have noticed him dragging that thing around on such a big ship. And isn't it strange, nobody stays on the bridge during night-time? What if another ship would cross their course?

Correction: Skinner's description of the fortress shows that the 8 Nautili are not completed, but only a rough framework. Given the technology at M's command, the creation could be largely mechanized, making multiple reproductions easy. As for the photographs, there are a legion of scientists working under M to create it, therefore Dorian probably only needed to photograph certain key parts of the ship that the other scientists couldn't discover (though the steering wheel does seem an odd choice). Finally, Nemo tracks the Nautiloid with an obviously sophisticated system - there's no reason to believe that this is unable to detect intercepting ships at a sufficient range and alert the crew.

The Harvest (2) - S1-E2

Corrected entry: When Buffy is gathering supplies in her bedroom, we see all of the usual vampire fighting supplies, such as crosses, holy water, and stakes. In addition to these, she has a jar of communion wafers. What are these supposed to do against a vampire?

Correction: According to Dracula and other legends, the Host repulses vampires just like crosses do (though there is no evidence that they actually harm them, perhaps explaining why they are not seen anywhere else on the show).

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the scene where all of the first years are ascending the staircases to Professor McGonagal, you can see Hermione's hair towards the front of the line. Then, in another cut, it's suddenly nowhere to be seen. Then it's back again.

Correction: In the shot from above, Hermione ascends the second flight on the right side and rounds the landing on the inside. The camera shifts to behind the landing and Hermione is still near the inside, someone has just wedged between her and the railing. She reaches the top of the stairs next to Ron.

Corrected entry: In the scene when Harry is in the restricted section of the library he walks in in the dark with only a lantern. He puts the lantern down in front of himself and begins to read. If you look at the bookshelf, his shadow is cast on the other side of the lantern as though the light is behind him.

Correction: Moonlight is streaming in from the upper left, stronger than the lantern.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the scene where the employee is talking to Harry in the wand shop, right after he tests the third wand the employee is back-facing the camera. If you look out the window in the background a guy walks down the street with a camera.

Correction: There's someone with a large object on his shoulder, no doubt, but the picture is too blurry to identify it. Moreover, the mystery object is brightly colored in parts, decidedly unlike a camera.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the sea hut before Hagrid bursts through the door, from some angles Harry has a reddish blanket covering him from the waist down. From other angles the blanket covers Dudley on the couch and Harry is lying on the floor uncovered (except for his clothes, of course).

Correction: That's his pants, evidenced by the waist, which are a bit large for him and drape somewhat. Dudley's blanket is patterned, though it's difficult to see in one or two shots.

Shrek (2001)

Corrected entry: Princess Fiona is sat alone at one end of a large dining table. Bright sunlight is shining through windows beyond the opposite end of the table, the shadow of the chair at that end of the table is cast back towards Fiona. Shadows of items on the table are cast in the opposite direction.

Correction: All the shadows on the table point toward Fiona. The shadow of the centerpiece points directly at a goblet, which may have caused the confusion.

Shrek (2001)

Corrected entry: When Shrek falls into the tower's roof, Fiona lays down with a fresh bunch of daisies in her hands. Where did she get flowers? It doesn't seem that any would be growing outside the castle in the lava...

Ral0618

Correction: Since the princess apparently is not suffering from starvation, dehydration, etc., it can be assumed that either she has limited access to the outside or that the castle is under a magical preservation that prevents death and decay.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When the three guys get in George Nelson's car he hangs out the window and asks the guy in the back seat to hand him his gun, as it is handed to him there is no ammo clip in it, but within no time he is firing the fully loaded weapon even though he had no time to load it.

Correction: There is an ammo clip, it's between the two handgrips and apparently full.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When George Clooney and his two pals are about to be hanged and the flooding water saves them, their hands are tied. Yet in the very next scene, when they are floating in the water, their hands are not tied.

R W Hlavac

Correction: In the rush of water that immediately follows the wave, we see several objects floating by. Dimly lit is one of the heros untying and slipping out of his bonds. If one could do it, the others could, too.

Starship Troopers (1997)

Corrected entry: When Carmen and Xander man the emergency evasive system to take the Roger Young out of the bug asteroid's path, why did they have to count down from five before punching the system button? If they had just punched it straight away, the ship would have cleared the asteroid safely without getting its communications tower blown off.

Correction: Carmen was using that time to point the ship downward. Only at the slower speed did she have time to maneuver; if they had punched it early, she would not have been able to dive in time. Xander was guiding her as the experienced member of the team by estimating the time they had left.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the golf scene Peter and his brother are talking to their grandpa, but at the wedding scene, the grandpa is on the Bride's side of the church, talking about grandma with the mother and father of the Bride.

Correction: Peter is familiar enough with his wife's family that he is comfortable taking her grandfather out with him. Roger refers to the old man as "gramps" because of his age.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When Christina Applegate is talking to the dark haired guy at the bar she is drinking a margerita and she has 3 olives on a cocktail stick too, which she consumes quite quickly. When the the camera returns to her moments later she is still chewing the second olive and the third is still on the cocktail stick.

Correction: When she leaves her friends to talk to Leather Coat Guy, she has two olives. She puts one in her mouth and starts chewing, but never swallows it until the camera comes back to her in a few minutes.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: About an hour through the film, when Cameron Diaz gets out of the car and screams, when she opens the door, you can see the crew in the opened doors reflection, as well as a bright stage light.

Correction: What appears to be a crew member is actually the reflection of a wooden telephone pole that is distorted by the curve of the window; in different frames it is identifiable. The "light" is shining on the shadowed side of the car and could be any reflective object.

Aliens (1986)

Corrected entry: In the hive, when Hicks puts his shotgun tip into an open egg, watch the camera angle of the camera mounted on his shoulder, the gun is off to the side and it should be in the middle of the screen seeing as how the camera is mounted on the shoulder holding the gun.

Correction: The camera is on Hicks' left shoulder. He is holding the barrel in his left hand. Therefore in the camera's view, the barrel intrudes from the lower right rather than center.

Aliens (1986)

Corrected entry: When Ripley is in the atmosphere processor, trying to get away from the queen and gunning down drones, the camera keeps tracking the ammo counter, and it gets down to really low...about 9. She then shoots lots more rounds (if the previous speed that the counter goes down by is any comparison), far more than she had the ammo for.

Correction: She goes down to 11 on the ammo counter, but this only refers to the rifle. She then fires several grenades and a flamethrower burst, both of which are different types of ammo. Finally, Ripley takes out a drone with the last of her bullets in two short bursts and is empty.

Big Fish (2003)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Edward Bloom loses his key, it is deep in a forest. But in the scene where his car is stuck in the tree, he finds the key in a stretch of open land, not the forest.

Correction: Considering the fact that someone ran a highway through Spectre, it's not odd that the forests were clear-cut at some point to allow for development that may or may not have eventually occurred.

The Mummy Returns (2001)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie, when it shows the Meji on his horse, there are many tracks all around him, as if someone, or many people were there before.

Correction: Many people, like the surviving Magi, who were there minutes before and left to regroup. Ardeth Bey remained to see if his friends had survived. Alternatively he's been there a while waiting and his horse has been pacing around.

The Mummy Returns (2001)

Corrected entry: When Rick saves Evie from being thrown into the fire in the museum, he cuts the ropes that are binding her hands and feet. The ropes are still left around her wrists and ankles, but she can now run. For the next several minutes, as they are fighting the Mummy and his armed guards, her bindings appear and disappear. When Rick and Evie run from the museum and she stops to pull the bench in front of the doors, all of the ropes are completely gone.

Correction: Evy takes off the bonds offscreen in a logical order: after Rick cuts the cross-ties, she removes the rope on her right hand so she can take a gun. Offscreen, the ropes around her legs work loose and fall off, and next time we see her legs they are free. Finally, when she goes up the stairs, the rope on her left hand is gone. It's not impossible for her to get out of the ropes and they never reappear after she has removed them.
