Corrected entry: In the scene where Chuck's dad dies outside, Ned is seen backing up to the table while his mother is taking a pie out of the oven. When she takes the pie out of the oven, she has oven mitts on, but in the next shot the oven mitts are gone and she is still holding the supposedly hot pie with her bare hands.

Corrected entry: Our heroes steer the bus toward a gap in an elevated exit ramp even though we can see in a wide shot that they have at least two alternative routes, one of which is completely unobstructed. It appears that the only possible reason for taking the route that they chose could be to film a jump scene. (01:02:35)
Correction: The other routes would not continue on the freeway. They may lead to other unfinished roadways and the jump was the best option for them.

Corrected entry: How does the high hide work? It's well above the tree line, so can't be hooked on top of one, and the only secret it gives away is that it is pulled up by the car winch. Yet Eddie leaves the high hide to save the others, taking the car with the winch with him. So what has happened to the hide?
Correction: It's hooked from either a taller tree or a tree that grows on higher ground. You can see parts of the tree above and to the sides of the high hide when it's first raised.

Corrected entry: After Roland's men help Ian, Sarah and Nick over the edge of the cliff, just after the T-rex attack, the group discuss what they should do. Ian suggests that they should go to the sea, Roland rejects the idea as he says that that is a well used water source. Yet animals need to drink fresh water, not salt water, as that would just dehydrate them.
Correction: Ian suggests they head to the lagoon, not the sea. Depending on how separated it is from the sea water or if it's fed by a river, a lagoon often has potable water.

Jurassic Park (1993)
Corrected entry: The brachiosaurus is shown to be chewing, but they didn't chew, they swallowed food whole. Also when Dr. Grant and the kids are in the tree, the brachiosaur's head is larger than it should be.
Correction: There are lots of discrepancies between the JP dinosaurs and modern paleontological studies of dinosaurs. Part of it can be attributed to genetic manipulation, and part of it is attributed to a possibly false understanding of dinosaurs (since it's entirely based on an ever-changing interpretation of the limited fossil record). For instance, according to the film, no one knew dilophosauruses were venomous until JP bred them. Since there are no actual living dinosaurs to dispute the movie's portrayal of their behavior and appearance, it's not a mistake, so long as it remains consistent within the fictional world the movie creates.

Superman II (1980)
Corrected entry: During the scene in East Huston, Idaho, when the three phantom zone criminals are terrorizing the small town, there are several vehicles that are seen as random vehicles about town. Specifically there is a white 1970 Mustang hardtop, a blue 71 Mustang hardtop, a white 71 Mustang fastback, a red 1972 LTD and a brown and gold two-tone 1970 Javelin. Each of these vehicles is then later seen in the 'Metropolis' street scene when Superman is fighting the three criminals. In addition, the red LTD looks suspiciously like the red LTD that Lois drove in the finale of the first 'Superman' movie.
Correction: All of these cars/colors were common in the time periods the movies take place in.

The Dark Knight (2008)
Corrected entry: When The Joker arrives at Dent's fundraiser, Rachel and Harvey are away from the party in one of the other rooms. Bruce comes and drags Harvey away, saying, "They're coming for him". So why does Rachel end up amongst all the party guests for The Joker to threaten? Surely she would have stayed hidden and out of the way. And why didn't Bruce simply hide Rachel with Dent to ensure her safety, or at least hide her somewhere, like wherever he got the BatSuit from, for example? These are some baffling character decisions that don't make sense at all.
Correction: It's established from the previous film that Rachel is stubborn and indignant when it comes to justice and right (going up against the mob, for instance). Bruce may very well have put her in a safe place, but she refused to allow the Joker to intimidate her. A questionable choice, but hardly out of character for her.

The Dead Zone (1983)
Corrected entry: General problem with the camera technique. They did not "sync" the movie camera with the television and computer screens in the movie. When the camera is out of sync with screens that are being filmed, it causes a distortion band across the picture tube. Two of the scenes where this is extremely evident (and a bit annoying) are when Roger and Johnny are watching the Stillson commercial and when Chris is on the computer (very visible green flickering band across the computer screen). Modern digital video cameras use a program called synchroscan to synchronize the camera to the TV screen being filmed.
Correction: Limitations in the technology at the time of filming are not mistakes.

Corrected entry: Despite what is stated in the film, chocolate is not made from the cocoa bean. It is actually made from the cacao bean.
Correction: "Cacao bean" may be the scientific term, but "cocoa bean" is an accepted synonym.

Correction: Actually, it says "Gotham" in cursive lettering similar to the Illinois plate.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the Penguin takes control of the Batmobile with Batman in it, Batman finds the remote by punching through the floor of the car. How are we supposed to believe that this mass of armour and weapons would have a floor weak enough to punch through? (01:21:40)
Correction: If anyone would know what the Batmobile's weak points are, it's Batman. It could be an access panel.

Corrected entry: When Batman and Penguin converse for the first time in front of the department store you can see below them a Catwoman figure kneeling while another Catwoman is flipping from the distance.
Correction: Is this in the improperly-framed fullscreen version? Because in the widescreen version you only see her flipping between the two of them.

Wall-E (2008)
Corrected entry: Wall-E only knows the name of the other robot as Eve-a (as he calls her throughout the film), but when lasering their names into the pole, he writes "Wall-E & Eve". Since he never saw her name printed (and never corrected his pronounciation) he should have carved "Eve-a".
Correction: The mispronunciation is not because he doesn't know her name, but because his "voice" has limited capabilities. he can't make a "v" sound without the "uh" after it.

Corrected entry: Before the alien attacks Morgan in the basement, only Merrill and Graham have flashlights. Graham drops his flashlight as he goes to grab Morgan. Bo picks it up and shines it on Graham and Morgan, who are on the other side of the room; he then goes and sits with Merrill, putting both flashlights on the same side of the room. However, when Merrill says they should save the flashlights, one light turns off on either side of the room.
Correction: No. The flashlights are not only on the same side of the room, one is directly above the other. Merril turns off his flashlight first, then Bo, both on the left side of the screen.

Corrected entry: The dad walks into a room with glasses of water all over the place (this is after the night when the alien was on the roof) and his daughter is watching a cartoon, called "Dexter's laboratory". In the episode she's watching a scene is missing, in between the part where the father hits the bug off the ladies' hair and the part where the character says "do it up".
Correction: Content is often edited when episodes are rerun in syndication to allow for more commercial breaks.
This is generally not true of cartoons with short segments such as Dexter's Laboratory. Even if it were, Dexter's Laboratory has never been syndicated. Reruns are shown through Cartoon Network or the Cartoon Network owned Boomerang and they are never edited for additional commercial breaks. In addition it would not have been syndicated at the time the movie is set, as the film was released during the original run of Dexter's Laboratory in either the 4th or 5th season.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Graham hears Bo scream, he uses his right hand to open her bedroom door. In the shot from inside the room, his left arm is outstretched as if he had opened the door with that hand.
Correction: We don't actually see his left hand holding the doorknob. Being right-handed, it makes sense for him to use his right hand to open the door. But since the door swings leftward, he would use his left arm to nudge it further open.

Corrected entry: In the scene where the trailer is hanging over the cliff, Dr. Malcolm is climbing down to save Sarah from falling through the glass. On his way down, he calls up to Nick to get the satellite phone. He calls him Vince, however, which is the name of the actor playing the character Nick Van Owen. (00:56:30)
Correction: Because of the phonetically similar vowel sounds, it may sounds like "Vince," but he says "Nick." Mouth movement even matches.

Correction: He has two cameras, a camcorder and a Nikon that he swaps. There are lengthy shots focused on Sarah during the "all of a sudden" during which he could have swapped cameras.

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991)
Corrected entry: In the prison, Kirk is being accosted by the huge alien that wants Kirk's clothes. The alien shouts angrily at him, yet the voice you hear doesn't match the alien's lip movements. In fact, most of the time the alien's lips don't even move.
Correction: He's an alien and doesn't conform to human attributes (like the alien with his genitals on his knees).

Correction: First, it's not the next shot. The shot of Ned backing up to the table is between the two. Second, there are two pies. So she takes the hot pie out of the oven. Then while Ned backs away to the table, offscreen she sets the hot pie down, takes the mitts off and picks up the already cooled pie.
