Corrected entry: When Johnathan Kent has a heart attack and falls to the ground, Clark's mother yells out "Johnathan!" There's a reaction shot of Clark inside the barn with the dog, then it cuts to a wide angle shot. Clark runs out of the barn, but the dog is now outside towards the back, running along the outside of the building to catch up with Clark. Not nearly enough time between the two shots for the dog to run all the way out the back of the barn and around the side.

Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995)
Corrected entry: In the scene when Simon asks Inspector Cobb to have McClane come to Harlem on the phone, he just mentions the address/location and the Inspector hangs up the phone. There are no further instructions given, as to what McClane has to "do" at Harlem (which McClane does in the subsequent scenes).
Correction: The camera comes in close to Cobb's eyes as Simon speaks. His eyes react after Simon has mentioned Harlem, then we hear Cobb shout out "Kowalski" to the bullpen. The next cut is from further back, where we see Cobb hanging up the phone and barking instructions to his men. There are two very common cinematic techniques being used in the phone call sequence. The first is a timecut. When Cobb answers Simon's call and then when he hangs up the phone are actually two different scenes that occur probably several minutes apart. The second technique is prelapped dialogue, which is when dialogue from a later scene is heard over the previous scene. So when Cobb shouts "Kowalski," it's not actually occuring during the closeup to his eyes, but in the second scene timejumped a few minutes later. Simon gave further details during the intervening (offscreen) minutes between the two scenes.

Corrected entry: The scene where Robocop and Lewis are at the steel mill after he was all shot up by ED-209 and the police, Robocop removes his helmet. Robocop all through the movie has a black lining on the sides of his face and chin. When he removes the helmet they just disappear. (01:20:50)
Correction: The helmet may well have been holding the chin strap in piece. When he lifted the helmet, the chin piece simply fell away (off camera).

Corrected entry: When Perseus and Calibos fight during their first encounter, Calibos bites Perseus in the arm hard enough to take a small chunk of his flesh out. This injury disappears in the next shot and is never present again.
Correction: The bite is a plot point and is seen several times until it is healed.

Correction: It's the near future. It's not inconceivable that in that time wireless internet would become available in remote, but touristy areas.

Goldfinger (1964)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Goldfinger meets with the gangsters to explain in detail his plan for entering Fort Knox why does he go to the trouble of announcing his plan when he is going to kill the gangsters a few minutes later? It only serves to let Bond (and the audience) know what's going on, but makes no sense in the movie at all. The gas is fatal - he only tells them it knocks people out to win their confidence.
Correction: He does it for the same reason he tells Bond further details of his plot (that he intends to make the gold worthless): because Goldfinger is a megalomaniacal sociopath. He's not rational. He likes to win, and what good is winning if you can't gloat about it... even if it's someone he intends to kill?

Corrected entry: The tree at the top of the hill that we see twice in the Fredricksons' lifetime montage does not change size or shape, despite the passage of at least four decades. By the time Ellie is old and collapses on her way up the hill, the tree should have grown significantly but it looks the same then as it did at the beginning of their life together.
Correction: We never see the full tree, so can make little determination as to how it may or may not have changed over time. You also assume the tree hasn't reached its maximum size or that the lower branches hadn't been pruned to maintain its shape.

Corrected entry: Chloe discovers that the thieves are using kryptonite tattoos to Accelerate their metabolism to hyperspeed, allowing them to reach through the space between atoms in solid objects. That's fine, but this acceleration wouldn't be consciously controlled. The thieves might be able to move through any solid objects, but they certainly wouldn't be able to pick anything up or wear clothes just because they wanted to. The metabolism shift would only affect their living cells, not adjacent nonliving ones. (00:32:35)
Correction: Chloe doesn't "discover" this, she theorizes. Obviously, she was mistaken.

Corrected entry: When the Rebel fleet is assembled, there are two Calamari cruisers being shown. (The really big ships). But later, when the fleet is going to jump to hyperspace, the small fighters move first and the big ships move after. But when the big ships move into hyperspace, the two Calamari cruisers are gone.
Correction: Perhaps (off-camera) they were part of another wave of ships to go to hyperspace.

Corrected entry: Chekhov is Russian and has a Russian accent. but actually, in the Russian language there is no 'W' sound and there IS a 'V' sound so his 'wessels' actually should have been 'vessels.'
Correction: It's never been outright stated that Chekov's v/w transposition is due to his accent. He may simply have a speech impediment.

Corrected entry: After the dome has shattered, Chief Wiggum mentions nobody getting hurt. You then see Dr Nick get flattened by a large piece of glass. He says "Bye, everybody!" and dies. There would have been some (well, lots of) blood. But there is none.
Correction: It's a standard of the medium that the laws of nature do not apply in a cartoon. If they did, then people wouldn't be yellow-skinned, a giant glass dome couldn't have been been constructed (let alone flown by helicopters and suction cups) to isolate a city, and Maggie would be in college by now.

Corrected entry: When Aladdin and Jasmine are singing "A Whole New World" they pass in front of a full moon on the magic carpet, and when they pass over water the reflection is of a crescent moon.
Correction: They don't pass in front of a full moon. It is a crescent moon with the rest of the moon lit by a da Vinci glow (light reflected from the Earth). Some people tried to correct this because they think the moon is in different phases depending on where in the world you are. Definitely not the case, as shown on https://sciencesy.com/pages/phases-of-the-moon. Because the moon's always facing the earth, and its phase is determined by where the sun is in relation to it, it doesn't matter where you're standing.

Corrected entry: In Superman The Movie. Marlon Brando banished the three (Zod,Ursa,and Non) to the Phantom Zone. Meanwhile Kal-El is launched to earth. Why does Kal-El age roughly 5 years during his journey,and then 13 more as a teenager,then 12 more. The three Kryptonian prisoners didn't age.
Correction: This is a question, not a mistake. The properties of the phantom zone are never fully explained in the films. But dialogue in both films explains that the villains were sentenced "for all eternity." Which suggests that time has no meaning in the phantom zone... so they wouldn't age.

Corrected entry: When Jenny and her friend are talking on the set about playing scenery, Jenny's friend says "I love Hollywood". But she should have said Hollywoodland, since the place doesn't become Hollywood until Neville Sinclair crashes into the sign.
Correction: The name of the LA district of Hollywood has been known as Hollywood since the 1800's. The famous sign was originally an advertisement for a housing development within the district. It's the name of that development (Hollywoodland) not the name of the city district. So what Jenny's friend (and later Neville) says is correct. No mistake.

Corrected entry: When Merrill takes the bat from the wall Graham is standing not far from him. When the camera angle changes Graham has disappeared from the set. (01:32:35)
Correction: Graham is not standing far from him, but he's also not standing directly beside him. Graham had just rolled the television into the room, so he stands in front of that, near the edge of the doorway into the living room. The television (and therefore Graham) is simply out of the reverse angle.

Correction: It is untrue that there is only a wall in that direction. There is a curio cabinet there. The light could be reflecting off the large pane of glass onto their faces.

Corrected entry: When Graham comes back home from Ray's house Merrill and the kids are sitting on the sofa. Morgan's book on aliens is lying on the coffee table on top of another, bigger book, first diagonal, then, when the camera angle changes, straight. (01:00:05)
Correction: In between the two shots is a lingering shot of Graham asking what the book says abot the aliens' intentions. Plenty of time for Morgan to have reached for the book, especially given that Graham is asking about it.

Corrected entry: When Marty goes to the new 1985 and goes into the house he thinks is his, a Dirty Dancing poster can be seen on the girl's bedroom wall. Dirty Dancing was not released until 1987.
Correction: Just watched this scene looking for the Dirty Dancing poster. I see about 4 different Michael Jackson posters, but no Dirty Dancing poster.
Correction: This is a very altered version of 1985, so it doesn't have to conform to the original timestream. For instance, Biff may now be responsible for providing the funding that gets the movie made earlier.

Toy Story 2 (1999)
Corrected entry: Before Emily and Jessie fall into the pile of leaves, you can see Emily's face. She has a little boy face -- Andy's face.
Correction: Facial features do not define gender. Little boys are often mistaken for little girls (and vice versa). Heck, sometimes adult men are mistaken for adult women. And some people look alike.
Correction: A possible explanation, born from fan theories: Emily is Andy's mom, that's why their faces look similar as children.

Correction: The dog runs out of the barn with Clark and is then offscreen for a full three seconds before the shot changes to the wide angle view with the dog along the *side* (not the back) of the barn. Considering it takes the dog less than three seconds to run the full length of the barn when he runs out with Clark, the fact that it ran less than half that distance in those offscreen seconds is not impossible.
