Trivia: As Troi talks to Picard about the language of the Harada, there's a model of the Enterprise-A behind her painted silver. The difference is that the nacelles are flat rather than in profile (straight up) to make it appear as a different ship.

Hide and Q - S1-E10

Trivia: In this episode, as Picard talks to Riker about the Q power, he walks around his desk. As he does, a model of the Enterprise A can be seen by the wall. In later episodes, the model is of the Stargazer.

Trivia: When watching the giant Christmas tree go up in flames, the Grinch says, "Oh, the Whomanity!" This is possibly paying homage to Herbert Morrison, who famously exclaimed, "Oh, the humanity!" during his witnessing the Hindenburg catastrophe.

Trivia: In this movie, the broken container that held the "ooze" has the words "RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL" over a black and yellow background. In TMNT 2, the label is green with "T G R I", for Techno Global Research Institute.

Trivia: In this episode, the stripe on Picard's door is light purple. Usually, the info stripes are brown with white lettering. Also, you see that Picard's quarters are on Deck 9, and has a view of space, whereas Kirk's cabin was further inside, with no windows. This was a means of protecting him from attack.

Trivia: Although it was kept a secret for years, the part of Thing was performed by Ted Cassidy. He sometimes had to travel to the studio to do it, even if Lurch wasn't in the episode. Though in a few episodes, where both Lurch and Thing appeared in the same shot, assistant director Jack Voglin performed the part of Thing.

Trivia: The building used in this episode and in part two (S7 Ep1) is called "House of the Book" Brandeis-Bardin Institute Hebrew Campus, in Simi, California. It was also used in the early seasons of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as the Rangers Headquarters.

Trivia: There are two instances where a character breaks the "Fourth Wall." This is when a character looks directly at the camera, as if addressing the audience. The first is when Harry is threatened by Animal after the horse races. The second is when Trzcinski is reading his letter and the bearded man listening to him say "I believe it...I believe it!" looks up as the scene ends.

Trivia: In an interview, Adam West told about a surprise. When sliding down the Batpoles, they dropped fifteen feet onto some mattresses. One time, there was someone sleeping off the previous night, and Adam fell on top of him.

Trivia: While Tony Nelson and Roger Heely are both astronauts, Tony is first an Air Force captain, then a major. Same thing for Roger, but he was a major in the U. S. Army Corp of Engineers. As far as I could tell, he was the only Army officer on the base full of Airmen.
