Trivia: In the beginning, Bender and Fry are watching an episode of "The Scary Door", based on The Twilight Zone. In it, a man is billed as "The Last Man On Earth", and he is walking into a library. This is a mirror of the episode "Time Enough At Last", where the man is the survivor of a bombing holocaust, and winds up at a public library, saying there was time at last to read, but breaks his glasses.

Trivia: Fred Gwynne (Herman) in real life was 6 feet 5 inches tall. In order to achieve the character, he was fitted with shoes that were at least four inches thick in the soles. The make up for his face and head added the rest to make him 7 feet 3 inches tall, and the air cooled suit added girth, and weighed 40 to 50 pounds.

Trivia: As Clara talks with Troi, a silver colored model of a Constitution class starship with reversed nacelles is seen on the shelf behind her.

Trivia: During the series, a number of times the shot of the Enterprise moving toward the destination at Impulse power is re-used, and there is a figure moving from left to right along the Conference room windows. According to the LCARSCom.net website, the figure in question is Captain Picard.

Trivia: During the clean up scene, a bugle call is heard playing over the P.A. System. Assuming that the scene was shot in the late afternoon (5 p.m. possibly), the call being played is called "Retreat", done when the U.S. Flag is lowered and folded for the day.

Trivia: It's mentioned here that Linda Hamilton's twin is used in the foundry scenes. The parts of the Guard and identical T-1000 copy in the hospital are played by Don and Dan Stanton. They have appeared in several other movies, always side by side.

Trivia: When looking at the damage, you see Scotty's right hand open, and can see the middle finger is missing. It's one of a few times you ever see it openly, as Doohan always kept it closed on camera. He lost it due to amputation in the Second World War.

Trivia: In the swamp, there's a black and white photo of a lady hanging over Winchester's area that can be seen behind Mulcahy as he rants at Charles. If you look closely, it's the same photo referred to many times by Frank Burns as a picture of his mother.

Trivia: In this episode, Scotty tries to get a Kelvin drunk. When asked what the liquor is, Scotty says "It is green." In the episode "Relics" (The Next Generation) Scotty asks Data what the unnamed liquor is, Data sniffs the bottle and says "it is... (sniffs)...it is... (sniffs)...it is green"
