Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) - 9 trivia entries
Directed by Steve Barron, starring Elias Koteas, Sam Rockwell (add more)
Because Michelangelo has a pair of nunchaku, BBFC policy at the time of the original release in 1990, was to edit out scenes involving the use of chain sticks because it was feared they could be imitated, so the film was cut for this reason. These cuts were rescinded by the BBFC for its recent re-release in cinemas.
The four actors playing the Turtles also had cameo appearances in the movie without their costumes: Tilden (Donatello) was the Foot messenger that says "We've been looking for you, Miss O'Neil". Pais (Raphael) is the passenger in the taxi cab that says "What the heck was that?" Sisti (Michelangelo) is the pizza delivery man that can't find the Turtle's address. Foreman (Leonardo) plays a gang member in the warehouse when Casey Jones defeats Tatsu.
