Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Corrected entry: At the beginning, after Bumblebee blows up the house, when Sam tells him to get in the garage, his mouth doesn't move.

Brad

Correction: You don't need to move your lips to speak that phrase. Sam is angry and speaking through gritted teeth; this is why his mouth appears not to move.

Phixius

Corrected entry: During a shot on the AWACS plane, a female actor says, "2,000 ton bomb", it should be "2,000 pound bomb.

Owahay

Correction: Actually what she says is "You are approved to drop a 2,000 pound JDAM" How do I know. That is my daughter and she is a Capt. aboard the AWACS and that's her job. Air Battle Manager.

Corrected entry: Assuming the Decepticons are individuals (which they all have been), the constructicons are all in different places at once. One of the first guys you see is Scavenger: he forms the chest of Devestator but dies to Optimus in one of the fist scenes. It gets worse in the final battle where the individual robots that form Devastator can be seen fighting individually at the same time. You see Long Haul (the big green dump truck) sneaking around a building looking for Sam - he is the leg of Devastator who is stomping around at the time. Bumblebee has a 10 minute fight with Rampage - who is Devastator's right arm. I am pretty sure that was Hightower helping Megatron find Sam as well - though currently he is Devastator's leg. Oh and then during and after Devastator is being destroying you can see Mixmaster (Devastator's head) getting his butt kicked by Jetfire. Also the huge Shovel vehicle afterward is supposed to be Scrapper (the other arm for Devastator). It's as though they had something else in mind for the plot but things changed in editing etc. These were always supposed to be individuals, not clones. They even have the same paint-jobs as their Devastator components. I love this movie but this is an amazing thing to overlook from a continuity standpoint.

NerveCenter

Correction: Sorry, but you lose out in the first line of your submission with your assumption that the Constructicons are all individuals with unique alternate forms. They're not. It's perfectly clear simply by watching the film that there are multiple robots with the same alternate form.

Tailkinker

Corrected entry: In the scene after the F-16s air strike and 2000 pound bomb attack, Ironhide is seen running away from the explosions, you can see his weapons break and fall off. Yet just before the Fallen attacks the resurrected Optimus, you can see that Ironhide now has his weapons back on his arms.

Correction: Between Sam being worked on and Optimus being revived, there is plenty of time for Ratchet to retrieve them or even re-generate new weapons (we still have little understanding of their species).

XIII

Corrected entry: Near the end, when the big red Transformer is vacuuming everything in its sight, Leo and Agent Simmons are hiding behind a van. The van gets sucked right in and so do a lot of other heavy objects, yet they manage to run away. It is physically impossible to run away from something powerful enough to vacuum houses and cars.

A l e x

Correction: The less mass something has (disregarding weight), the harder it is to be sucked up like that, depending on the machine that is vacuuming.

Knever

Corrected entry: The F16s striking the Decepticons in the end battle actually are F/A18s. Also, F16s aren't used on aircraft carriers.

Correction: They never show F16s on an aircraft carrier. They do show F16s taking off from a ground base.

Greenman37

Corrected entry: When Sam lands on the other end of the "Space Bridge", he is seen holding his hand and screaming. The next scene his hand is wrapped with fresh gauze. Where did it come from?

Correction: Mikaela is (briefly) shown wrapping his hand, although it's never specifically shown where she produced the gauze from.

Corrected entry: When Sam's roommate is showing him his video setup, he says, "The government covered up that thing in L.A. two years ago." (I know that's not the exact wording that he used). However, the showdown with Megatron and the Decepticons over the AllSpark happened in Mission City, not Los Angeles.

Correction: Mission City is a fictional place, but is most likely a district or neighborhood of greater Los Angeles, not a separate city of its own. Similarly, Georgetown is a neighborhood of and technically in Washington, D.C., but most people still refer to it as Georgetown.

Corrected entry: When they're in Egypt, where Shia Luboff and Megan Fox are running away from the Decepticon, he has on a leather jacket and then under that a white t-shirt, then under that a purple hoodie. As they are running, he had to be able to take off his white t-shirt, then take off his purple hoodie, then put back his t-shirt again, all while running away.

Correction: The "hoodie" actually belongs to the jacket.

Corrected entry: For some reason, one of the Decepticons can suck up cars and enormous slabs of concrete but cannot suck up the two characters running away from it.

Correction: Same thing happens with tornadoes. A roof can be lifted off a house, but a bed within the same house would be undisturbed. It happens.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: After Sam, Mikaela, and Leo escape from Megatron and the Micro 'Doc Bot' they go to a deserted 'junkyard' with Skids, Mudflap, and Bumblebee. When nightfall hits, after Sam tells Bumblebee that he has to turn himself in, Bumblebee encourages him to stay the course and then turns into car mode. At that point when Sam is leaning on the hood and Bumblebee scooches forward and flashes his lights, you are able to see the obvious outline of a crew man in the driver side seat of Bumblebee, making Bumblebee move. (In the previous and following shots there is no holographic projection of a driver in Bumblebee.)

XMichiganState5x

Correction: Submitted and corrected. A transformer can create the appearance a driver. as seen from the first film with Blackout, Starscream, and Barricade.

MasterOfAll

Corrected entry: In the first movie actor Glenn Morshower plays Colonel Sharp, commander of the SOCCENT airbase that is destroyed by Blackout at the beginning, with no survivors(according to John Keller). In the second movie he plays General Morshower in command of of the NEST base. Apparently more than Transformers can come back to life.

Correction: Not a mistake by any stretch of the imagination. They're completely different characters who just happen to be played by the same person. What happens to one has no effect on the other.

MAdMaN

Corrected entry: When Sam leaves for college they leave in a little black car, but arrive in a grayish SUV.

Correction: I submitted this same mistake. This is the correction: "Sam and his parents live near the west coast of the country. It is quite possible that they packed the hatchback, drove to the airport, hopped on a plane and flew to the east coast where the college is located, rented the Trailblazer and drove to the school. Why would they have to show every part of the journey?"

Chris Skoglund

Corrected entry: When Mikaela and Sam enter the room to hide, a tiny robot flies in - Sam holds it with one hand and uses the other hand to tear it apart. In this shot the bandages on his hand have disappeared.

Correction: His hand is bandaged but his thumb and forefinger are still exposed. The shot was taken using an extreme close up so you don't see the bandages.

Corrected entry: When the main soldier is in a airplane or helicopter you can see a large chunk of green screen behind his head.

Correction: I'm sorry, you're going to have to be a lot more specific than that, please try again and resubmit with more detail, its just too vague.

GalahadFairlight

Corrected entry: The Primes tell Sam to merge the Matrix with Optimus's spark. That would be impossible, seeing as how Megatron thrust his claw through Prime's spark core during the forest battle, causing a massive explosion and Prime's death.

Correction: While Megatron did spear Prime through the chest, he didn't kill Prime outright. As seen with Megatron, there are various stages of death with Transformers and Megatron and Prime were in whats called Stasis Lock. Without a source of power to revive them they would eventually die but their spark still existed. By Sam using the power of the Matrix to repower Prime, he was able to live. We also never specificly see Primes spark extingushed, which means its it existed in some sort of suspended form.

dablues7

Corrected entry: During the escape in the desert, Agent Simmons tazes Sam's roommate and as he screams it cuts to a another shot of him passed out already but he is still heard screaming.

Correction: Yes screams are heard. It could be Sam or (less likely to be) Mikayla. They are witnessing their friend get zapped in the throat.

XIII

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the film, when the cavemen are running around, the sub-title states that it's "17000 AD" instead of the correct "BC".

theboss

Correction: I've seen this film seven times and it correctly states "17,000 BC". You may need to look closer.

dablues7

Corrected entry: When the military enters the All Spark Cube Shard Bunker the shard is still in it's cryo case in the center of the room. In the next shot an instant later, the razor thin Decepticon passes in the foreground and the shard is now it it's hand and the case is empty.

Correction: The box is empty. It even has the two cuts from the razor Decepticons' cutters visible in a rectangle shape.

Galbot

Corrected entry: In the scene where the N.E.S.T Major is demoted, the liaison rips off the Major's velcro rank insignia, leaving an empty space. After the liaison leaves, you can see the gap has been replaced by something else.

Correction: This is wrong. There is nothing replacing the patch, there is an empty, raised square where the patch used to be. The liaison doesn't leave either, he stays with them and later gets pushed out of the plane. Which movie were you watching? We took three people to see it again today with the mistakes list and had a close look at them and this one is wrong.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Sam is in his bedroom, after he finds the Cube sliver it falls and dramatically burns a hole through the floor into the kitchen. But Sam's bedroom is over the living room (there is nothing on the ground floor below Sam's elevated bathroom, and in the first movie Jazz hides in this open space), and the kitchen is actually located between the den and dining room, at the other end of the house. If they were to follow the actual floor plan of the house, the Cube sliver would have landed in the area of the piano in the living room, but where would the fun have been in that? (00:12:30)

Trivia: When the planes bombard the desert ruins, the explosion, which holds the Guinness record, took 8 months to be made, more than principal filming took! Also, the planes used while filming in fact bombarded the set, as explosives detonated for the massive explosion. Seems Michael Bay enjoyed the high budget of this film.

Question: What happened to Wheels (the little remote controlled car that Mikaela was turning into a pet) at the end? The last time I remembered seeing him in the movie was him entering that one building in Egypt, where Bumblebee, Mudflap, and Skids can't get into. He mutters something about "stupid Autobots". But, after that, he kind of disappears? Or was he around and I just didn't notice?

Answer: After the tomb, he doesn't appear onscreen again. There's no indication as to what happened to him.
