Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Corrected entry: After of one of the Decepticons has cut off the top of the Khafre pyramid (the one with the remaining original outer stone layer at the top), you can see it complete later in a scene with the S7 agent.

Correction: Another 'mistake' entry has made reference to the Khafre pyramid being shown in the background. However in the movie, it is portrayed as a different pyramid. The pyramid that Devastator rips apart remains in that state for the entire sequence.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the scene where Megatron has just been revived and is heading up to smash into the submarine, we hear the captain of the submarine say, "Evasive manouver left", yet in the very next shot, the submarine turns right.

Correction: This is just the result of the angle from which the submarine is viewed.

Phixius

Corrected entry: In the scene where Mikaela smashes Alice into the lamp post, a large chunk of stone falls on the hood of the car. In the next shot, it's gone.

Brad

Correction: To be exact, a big piece of outer covering of the lamp post falls onto the car. The piece is notably thin and lightweight. An unknown amount of time has passed until the next time we see the front of the car. It has enough time to slide off the windshield. The issue of the piece is a thin piece of the lamp post is a totally different matter and could also be a mistake in itself but not in reference to this mistake.

XIII

Corrected entry: In one of the scenes in Egypt, Bumblebee is driving beside the group and is supposed to not have anyone inside of him, but the driver of the car can be seen.

Correction: The Transformers can project holographic drivers.

Phixius

Corrected entry: The Autobots and Decepticons apparently require air (vaporous puffs of breath when speaking, labored breathing when in distress, etc.), yet can still fly through hard vacuum when the plot requires them to.

JayK

Correction: This was listed, then corrected for the first mvie. Transformers mimic whatever lifeform they blend with so breathing, talking, etc. while not neccessary, is mimicked so they are able to blend and connect with whatever lifeforms they encounter.

dablues7

Corrected entry: When Wheelie and Jetfire are talking, it's stated that the Decepticons' goal is to destroy the Universe, and that hate is their only motivator. That is incorrect, per the discussion between Megatron, the Fallen, and Starscream. It's just that the Decepticons don't care about other sentient species (particularly humans), when balanced against the survival of their own.

JayK

Correction: Jetfire has become disillusioned with the Decepticons. His feelings toward them are therefore skewed. Call it a kind of propaganda.

Phixius

Corrected entry: Sam goes through all the trouble to find the matrix to get Prime back to life, when all he could have done was put the ALL Spark piece into him. It worked for Megatron.

mitumix

Correction: Megatron's Spark was fused with the Cube, merely "overloading" him to death. The mechanics of his person were still completely intact. Optimus Prime was physically destroyed. His body would not function. Applying the Cube shard to him would be like using a defibrillator on a corpse with a severed head.

Phixius

Corrected entry: There are several time lapse mistakes in the movie where time is fast-forwarded inexplicably. For instance, the scene where Ravage (the cat-like Decepticon) attacks the base in daylight, then full dark falls too quickly.

JayK

Correction: When we see Ravage emerge from the water the sun is setting. We are not shown how much time it took for Ravage to make it to the base. It is not necessary to show every moment onscreen.

Corrected entry: At numerous times during the Egypt scenes, the pyramids are seen in the foreground while downtown LA is seen in the background.

Correction: The city seen below the Pyramids is Cairo not LA.

Corrected entry: In Egypt the Transformer that is sucking everything into itself, it's sucking all kinds of things and we see in one scene where the walls of a trailer are ripped off and sucked into the monster. Just in front or on the side of the trailer is a little table with a lamp and some other kind of decoration on it but it never moves. How can the walls of a trailer be torn off but a little table with stuff on it stay where it is?

Correction: Oddities like that happen in real life. For example, a tornado destroying everything in a yard, including tearing away a garage, but the car inside had no damage, not even scratche3d paint. Forest fires burning down every house on a block except for one which, for no apparent reason, doesn't even get singed. Just two examples of inexplicable things happening.

rswarrior

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sam's parents are outside a cafe in Paris you can see a Budweiser bottle on the table. This beer is not sold in France, largely due to copyright issues with a European beer of the same name [but which has a significantly different bottle].

Correction: They do sell it in Europe, but as "Bud". It's packaged in the same Budweiser bottle but with a different name.

Corrected entry: The Constructicons make up Devastator. When Agent Simmons, Leo, Mudflap & Skids are fighting Devastator. The Constructicons that are Devastator's head [The Cement Mixer Truck and Long Haul The Giant Green Dump Truck, which is the last vehicle to transform right behind Simmons & Leo] are both seen fighting in their robot modes against the N.E.S.T team members at the same time as being a part of Devastator. Unless they can be in two places at the same time, this isn't possible.

Correction: The constructicons fighting the N.E.S.T. team, and the ones making up Devestator are totally different robots. So, yes, this does mean that there are 2 mixmasters, 2 Rampages and 2 Long Hauls. No reason different robots can't choose the same alternate modes.

dark_jedi

Corrected entry: At the end of the first film, the remains of Megatron and the other Decepticons were sunk to great depths because the pressure and freezing temperatures (to which Transformers are vulnerable) will prevent the remains from being recovered. Yet this was completely ignored in this movie, with the Decepticons diving in to retrieve and revive Megatron.

Correction: In the Prequel Comic to the first movie, it's explained that Megatron was frozen because his Energon reserves were low afer traveling from Cybertron to Earth. A fully functional and charged Transformer can still withstand the cold and depth. That was a wrong assumption on the Secretary of Defense that no one would be able to retrieve or revive them.

dablues7

Corrected entry: When Mikeila and Leo were running away from Megatron, they didn't bring the box with the Decepticon. Then when they were with Agent Simmons, the box was on the Camaro.

Correction: A significant time has passed between the two scenes mentioned. Once the Autobots save Sam, they separate and head in different directions. After the 'fight sequence' there is plenty of time for Mikeila (and anyone for that matter) to go retrieve 'Wheels' inside the box.

XIII

Correction: It is never said that only a Prime can kill a Prime. it is only stated that a Prime can kill the Fallen.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Agent Simmons uses a taser on the throat of the guy in the back seat, he understandably loses consciousness, but three seconds later jumps out of the car of his own accord and is fully awake and not in the least bit disoriented or disabled.

Correction: We don't see how long it took them to get to where they are. It just cuts from that scene to them stopped.

Corrected entry: When Sam Witwicky touches the Allspark with his bare hands, it has consequences. He touched the Allspark with his bare hands in the first movie without any problems.

Correction: It is made clear during the movie that when the Allspark transferred its 'knowledge' to Sam because it was no longer 'whole'. In the first movie, Sam held the Cube when it was whole and complete. When he touched the device in this movie, the Cube transferred its knowledge then. The logistics behind this are not relevant. The Allspark was a powerful and unknown device.

XIII

Corrected entry: In the beginning, when Optimus is telling the history of mankind and Transformers, they show a tiger. Tigers did not exist back then. The chances are they would have been hunting sabretooths etc., not tigers.

Correction: Tigers first evolved approximately 2 million years ago and are thus around 1.75 million years older than Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Their appearance in the fossil record is a little after Homo Habilis (oldest fossils estimated about 2.5 mya), making them existent throughout some 80% or so of tool-using Hominid history.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sam dies, and the military people rushes towards him at the ground - you can see that when they "hit" him while he is laying there dead, his eyelid is actually moving.

Correction: When A body dies the electrical impulses in the body don't stop immediately. Plus, we don't really know if he was truly dead.

Greenman37

Corrected entry: At the beginning, the shard of the Cube drops onto the kitchen table and transforms all electrical equipment in the kitchen into Transformers. Sam's dad asks, when hiding behind the fountain, what they are and Sam replies, "The whole kitchen". However, Sam was on the 2nd floor when the kitchen appliances transformed, so he shouldn't have known all the Transformers came from the kitchen.

lionhead

Correction: However, since all of them resemble kitchen appliances, it is an easy assumption for Sam to make.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen mistake picture

Continuity mistake: When Sam is in his bedroom, after he finds the Cube sliver it falls and dramatically burns a hole through the floor into the kitchen. But Sam's bedroom is over the living room (there is nothing on the ground floor below Sam's elevated bathroom, and in the first movie Jazz hides in this open space), and the kitchen is actually located between the den and dining room, at the other end of the house. If they were to follow the actual floor plan of the house, the Cube sliver would have landed in the area of the piano in the living room, but where would the fun have been in that? (00:12:30)

More trivia for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Question: Sam says that the Energon source is before the Autobots. So to find it they need to talk to a Decepticon. Wheelie is the first one at hand, but how does he know about the source, let alone the Seekers, what they look like and where they are? He doesn't look like he is as old as Jetfire, and as he puts it, "Nobody tell me nothin".

Friso94

Chosen answer: He knows from stories passed down to him from older generations of bots, not much unlike stories about the past passed down to us from our ancestors. His line about no one telling him anything is just a way to avoid being put back in the box or being tortured by Mikayla.
