Audio problem: When Cody explains to Sue that "everyone you love is dying" she screams, then he starts screaming. It has a fast cut from his back while he still is screaming. But you can see on his face that he actually isn't screaming. (00:27:00)
Continuity mistake: During her wedding, Cindy throws her flowers over her head and we see a group of women dive for them. However, in the next shot, the President emerges from the pile-on with the bouquet, even though he was not in the pile-on originally. (Regardless if the intention was to surprise the audience, this is still a continuity error.) (01:11:05)
Revealing mistake: When Cindy reverses into Cody after realising she'd left him behind, you can tell the switch to dummy if you pause it in the right place. Also - when the dummy lands after being thrown back, it springs back up, almost hanging in mid-air for a second. It's obvious the dummy is being carried on wires, but without being blatant enough to be a deliberate gag. (00:12:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the aliens first land, when the president's car hits them, they fall face-down, onto their stomach. When they show a close-up of the president laying the money on them, they are laying on their back. (01:03:25)
Continuity mistake: When the Catholic priest comes to "babysit" Cody, he lights 2 candles but a few seconds later, only 1 is lit. (00:13:40)
Visible crew/equipment: You can see the wire attached to the puppet's right arm that is supposed to be Cody just before Cindy backs her car onto him. (00:12:30)
Continuity mistake: When Pamela opens the door to the room which she finds Jenny, the door handle switches sides. Seen from inside of the room the door handle should be on the left side of the door, not the right side. (00:03:10)
Continuity mistake: When Tabitha first climbs out the TV, Brenda sits on the couch and shoves a large handful of popcorn in her mouth. Then in the next shot of her, her mouth is suddenly empty. (00:25:05)
Revealing mistake: When Cindy, Cody and Sue have made the hole in the cellar floor and unveiled the well, there is a shot from inside the hole. We see the well and the huge hole they have made. We also see a wooden plank wall surrounding the well with sunlight coming through the cracks. However, if we look up the hole we see a door, and behind that door there is supposed to be some stairs. Because there are stairs, there could not be any sunlight coming through the cracks, since the sun wouldn't shine there at all. (01:07:35)
Audio problem: When George gets his head stuck in the bus door, in a wide shot as the bus starts driving off, you can hear George going 'Aaah, aaah' but his mouth doesn't move at all. (00:09:10)
Continuity mistake: After the hood's shoot-out, as the smoke settles you can see a dead man in the top left hand corner of the screen with both his arms upright and supported, when he obviously couldn't support them. (01:04:50)
Revealing mistake: When the oracle tells Cindy not to worry about the vase you see her bumping into the vase by her side. At the same time you can see the pillar on the opposite side of her moving. Like someone standing beside it accidently bumps into it before dropping another vase onto Cindy's head. (00:40:35)
Continuity mistake: When Tom opens the door to Sue's room there are drawings hanging on the door. When it cuts from inside the room while he is opening the door the drawings are gone. (00:46:10)
Continuity mistake: When Mahalik is hugging George you can see George's hood is pointing up. When it cuts and George says "alright," his hood is laying down. (00:17:45)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy is going to enter the lighthouse, you can see that the wind has got some of her hair in front of her forehead. When inside the lighthouse, you can see when Cindy appears in the monitors that she has got her hair combed, and in a different style. (00:51:30)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy first meet George her necklace is visible under her collar during their whole conversation. But when she says "you don't dress like a farmer" the collar is blocking the necklace. (00:10:35)
Continuity mistake: When the hood arrives at the farm, CJ comes out of the car, and two specific gangsters start fighting. Then it cuts to George and the guys, and when it cuts back to the fight it is two different gangsters that are fighting. (01:05:35)
Continuity mistake: When George is hitting the arms holding Cody by the coal slide, you can see up the slide that it is totally dark. When the arms release Cody there is suddenly bright light up the slide. (01:02:15)
Continuity mistake: When the president is welcoming everybody to the White House and we can see the sign that says "Mother Theresa Community Awards". If you look to the left, you can see an old black couple. In front of them, you can see a white couple. When it cuts to a shot from behind them, you can see the white couple has moved farther to the right. (00:55:25)
Continuity mistake: When Cindy parks her car outside Cody's school, you can see a green bench. When Cindy and Cody get out and she kneels down in front of him, the bench is gone. (00:09:30 - 00:11:55)
Answer: It was an alien in a Michael Jackson skin. He shed it and ran off into the bushes.
